The research comes with caveats. It is based on climate models, huge computer programs that attempt to reproduce the physics of the climate system and forecast the future response to greenhouse gases. Though they are the best tools available, these models contain acknowledged problems, and no one is sure how accurate they will prove to be at peering many decades ahead.
The models show that unprecedented temperatures could be delayed by 20 to 25 years if there is a vigorous global effort to bring emissions under control. While that may not sound like many years, the scientists said the emissions cuts would buy critical time for nature and for human society to adapt, as well as for development of technologies that might help further reduce emissions.

They’re still alive after 15 years; 35 years from now, most of ‘em will be dead and even less accountable than they are today.

In 2000 we heard British children would no longer recognize snow in a few short years. It was also predicted that the Arctic would be free of sea ice by 2013 (when actually there has been a 29% increase in sea ice in 2013 over the previous summer). So yeah, I really believe their predictions now.
I have a computer model that says we’ll be back under a mile thick sheet of ice by then. It’s happened before. I have another computer model that has the Germans winning World War 2, and another one that has everyone in a flying car by 2015.
It’s stunningly instructive to see how liberals are able to ignore facts when trying to push their agenda.
No global warming for 15 years? Just make more dire claims about future climate disasters.
Obamacare a disaster? Just make more claims about how it’s helping people.
I used to hope that it was possible for liberals to see that their agenda caused damage, and they would re-evaluate. I now know that’s impossible. They will never give up, they will never give in, and they will never stop pushing their agenda. They are convinced their agenda is superior, regardless of any facts that prove otherwise.

I still remember a Time Magazine cover attempting to scare us about acid rain. A person was up to their nose in a lake. Everything underwater was a skeleton. Yikes! We’re all going to die!
