Thanks for the prediction info! We’ve had so much rain lately, my slogger shoes are within arm’s reach, and the fungicide is next to the door.

Looks like New Orleans may get the edge of it and it will be in Florida, too.
My son flies from Miami, Florida to Houston on Sunday so I hope his plane can get out of there without having to go through bad weather from this storm. Actually, I hope the plane can take off. Supposed to pick him up at 10 am Sunday, hope he makes it.

She’s looking worse than this morning. Hopefully she will just stay a tropical storm or weak Cat 1.

It also has to deal with a lot of dry air to the west and increasing shear. Both of which tend to keep tropical storms from intensifying into major hurricanes.

I am leaving from here in Texas to visit a friend in Pace on the 10th. I hope everything has blown over by then.

This is what could reopen the government. The Republicans get spooked about this. Stay strong and let the state handle it.

Just wait for the media reporting on all the starving people dumpster diving 3 minutes after the first raindrop falls.

Thanks NN. Hope you are well. This one looks very similar to I think Opel? Anyway, there are shear winds that should keep this to just a pain in the fanny soak fest. Fingers crossed.

Latest satellite loops seem to indicate the thunderstorms are weakening a bit.

Excellent. Their ratings must have gone down when they were blowin’ more wind than the named storms :)
We are going into to a fall weather pattern. Temps have dropped 10 degrees for my morning cycle rides. Jacket weather for this Florida Native.

Now I remember. Opal stirred around and went West before accelerating North. She was a real pain for quite a while! Please come Fall Weather patterns! Thx Blam!
