Alleged Republican John McCain responded to Ted Cruzs heroic but failed attempt to stop ObamaCare by speaking apparently at the behest of Democrat Majority Leader Harry Reid. Tune in at around 4:20 in the video below and hear this:
Id remind my colleagues that in the 2012 election, ObamaCare
was a subject that was a major issue in the campaign.
Well, the People spoke
and they reelected the president of the United States. Now that doesnt mean we give up our efforts to try to replace and repair ObamaCare. But it does mean that elections have consequences, and those elections were clear
a majority of the American people supported the president of the United States
I think all of us should respect the outcome of elections, which reflects the will of the People.

First time Ive heard that. Watch out people, this is going to be the new line from the Repub[l]ican managers.
Ah yes -- Huckabee had a (congressional) guest on his Thursday afternoon radio broadcast, some faction of the R leadership now offering to "compromise" by "delaying" HusseinCare for one year -- allowing time to repeal it -- (YEA, RIGHT) and I had a similar thought to yours:
Here we go! Give them another year and the program will be so entrenched that we may never extract all the tentacles!
McCain and Obama have a lot in common.
They (somehow!) manage to embarrass themselves (and screw America) each and every day.
There’s a real talent in being able to do this, and so consistently too
I cut McCain loose when he was one of the keating five. Everything since has just reaffirmed my decision.
It must be said; he is toys in the static bat-sh*t crazy..
AZ, stop sending the POS.
Would please help?
A majority of ballots counted, not all of which were from legal voters, went to Barack Hussein Obama as a proxy for ObamaCare over Mitt Romney representing RomneyCare. No sane person could consider that a referendum on socialized medicine.
This is the worst kind of distortion—a distortion of the system of US government. Obama and Obamacare were not the “will of the people”, but were the will of about 51 percent of the voting people. In a republic, the government must act on behalf of all the citizens, not just the winning side in one presidential contest. Achieving a majority in that vote does not enable the winners or losers to roll over and say the winning side gets everything they want and the rest of the people have no voice and must put up with whatever the winners want.
That is so un-American as to demand retraction and resignation from the person who spoke it.
John McCain is a gutless, spineless coward and always has been.
Yep, the Keating Five. He’s been bought and sold before, perhaps long before that. Didn’t he marry a rich daughter of some politically powerful family in AZ?
Never forget he would be sitting at home in Az if not for Sarah Palin’s endorsement.
McPain knows damned good, and well about the fraud that got the Obamabastard reelected in 2012. This brazen crap coming out of his mouth is right out of the Democrat playbook. McPain is an imposter. A fraud himself.
and let us remind you McCrap, the house was carried by the party that voted against Obamacare. The house is known as the people’s house. The fact the hafacan won is indicative of his ability to pull votes from every freeloader in the land plus those who think his status as a black person, not even a decendant of those who were in slavery here, merits an affirmative action vote. If this was a vote on Obamacare, without attachment to a person, it would go down 60-40. Those are the numbers and you sir are so out of touch with reality to question your ability to function in office.
F-U mccain...
The Loyal Opposition is only Loyal to the Opposition.
The Republic as founded is dead, long live Tyranny.
Az elected this man. The majority don’t really know what he does in DC. How is that working out for ya AZ?
As I observe him as an old man who has had everything handed to him without owning up to much or any responsibility, I have to ask. One wonders if he was captured at all in Viet Nam. He seems like the kind of guy who would just walk up and surrender. He took the easy way to college with connections instead of qualification, he spent the rest of the war after wrecking a few planes not fighting, he left his disabled wife for a beer heiress, he got involved in bank corruption scandal with no consequence, he was handed the presidential nomination and couldn't even beat Obama, he lied to voters to keep his Senate seat, and now he's saying it's more convenient to bow down to Obama rather than fight.
Whatta' guy. Someone said on another thread a few weeks back (about Ryan I think): "never trust a man who marries for his money".
Leave Sarah alone. I got the hots for her so don’t mess with my wet dream. Highlight of the article was ‘Alleged Republican John McCain’, applies to many we see now. I want the t-shirt. Been a lurker since the ‘90s didn’t comment and make it easy for the Feds but with Nsa busy at work don’t think it matters. My thanks to Ted and friends for dragging the traitors out of their closets. Keep the faith.
