Yes ... the honey did it’s job for a few years. It quit working a couple of years ago. The doctors have been doing all they could to save the leg; he has been in a lot of pain recently and is looking forward to getting this surgery behind him.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I join with my fellow FReepers in asking You to be with Jim and his family. We are praying for a miracle that this amputation not occur, but if it does, we are praying that infection/complications NOT occur, and for Jim to be kept out of pain.
