Everyone I have ever spoke to thinks Peter King is crazy. His behavior during the Syrian debate proved that he isn’t rational.

Senator Ted Cruz is a patriot...
He puts up a facade of Scooby Doo investigating on radical Mosques every 2 years, but in the face of him arming terrorists in Syria, he is exposed as a fraud.

This big blow-hard condemns Cruz. I guess he’s too stupid to realize it was the House that sent the CR to the senate. It must be stupidity. Otherwise, why isn’t he calling the Tea Party republicans in the house names.
Beyond me too. What’s more, he’s radical totalitarian when it comes to giving the executive branch power. He would love running a FEMA camp.

This is Sarah Palin 2.0 in the way they are immediately trying to disparage and diminish the Texas Senator.

I didn’t used to think he was that bad, at least for a NY Republican he seemed fairly typical. But Billyboy had it right all the time. This is one of the worst pieces of crap to wear an “R”. If I could get rid of any RINO he’d be near the top of the list, even if he is good on a few issues, it’s more than outweighed.
As for his district (and I remember people saying the same thing about Mark Kirk’s district, a swing seat that some people liked to pretend was actually in Chicago) it was Republican leaning, the last redistricting made it less so and Obama narrowly carried it under the current lines, but it’s still definitely a seat we should have.
King’s contempt for Cruz has earned our contempt for King if it wasn’t there beforehand.
The GOP establishment’s support for cloture is a sign of one or both of two things: 1) support/indifference for Obamacare, 2) abject cowardice. There’s not a strategic 3rd option, not even in the delusional sense.
And if you’re reading this, King, Cruz is just a new voice to an existing sentiment — you’re late on the disparaging foolishness.
Re: King’s NY-02, it indeed was made less Republican in 2012, and not only was it carried by Obama by 51.6% to 47.2% over Romney, it voted more Democrat than the adjoining NY-01 and NY-03 that have been held by Democrats Tim Bishop and Steve Israel for years.’ In an open-seat situation, it would be very, very competitive.
