Feeling left out of the "Breaking Bad" hoopla? Upset you can't join in the fun of Sunday night's finale because you never caught up on the series everyone seems to be talking about?
Take heart viewer, because AMC is here to help with your binging needs.
Starting Tuesday at 8 p.m. with the very first episode that originaly aired Jan. 20, 2008, the cable network will screen every instalment of the Emmy-winning series in an ultra-marathon that will culminate in the 75-minute finale airing Sunday night.
Already riding high on fan love, the series about a high-school chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston) who enters the drug trade to pay for his
Along with taking the top award, actress Anna Gunn also won an Emmy for outstanding supporting acting in a drama series for her portrayal as Whites wife, Skyler.
AMC's decision to air the "Countdown to the Finale" binge-fest coincides with the onine marathoning of all 234 episodes of Comedy Central's "South Park." The massive four-day celebration of all things Eric, Kyle, Stan and Kenny can be viewed at SouthParkMarathon.com. It began Sept. 21, and will
AMC will air the first four seasons of "Breaking Bad" through Friday, Sept. 27. The marathon will then pick up with episodes from the current fifth season Sept. 28 at 11 p.m. and continue through the night and day leading up to the 75-minute series finale.
Maybe they don't. Perhaps all of their claimed viewership numbers are fraudulent.
I came across a forum the other day populated mostly by kids. The prevailing comments were ‘I didn’t know meth was so bad. It really opened my eyes.’
How long is that in hard drives?
then go away and dont come back?
I liked it better when it was called "The Godfather."
I laugh when people complain about remakes. The Greeks and Romans were shameless about stealing and remaking works too.
“i find it hard to identify with a show that glorifies a drug dealer whilst trying to keep children off drugs.”
It’s funny. The only people who think that BB glorifies drug dealers are the people who haven’t actually watched the show.
It’s going to be 75 minutes long on Sunday.
My cable listings show Pulp Fiction and The Departed (an excellent movie) scheduled for tonight with the Breaking Bad marathon beginning tomorrow at 8 pm.
I’ve never watched it but if FReepers say it’s good, it must be.
“I also object to their dragging the name of one of the founders of quantum mechanics through the mud.”
I am uncertain as to whether I agree with that or not.
It was last Sunday too and I almost missed it.Glad I hadn’t turned my TV off.
.
AMC did the same thing with Walking Dead, a marathon of every episode leading up to the season finale. That’s how I got caught up.
Schrödinger, is that you or is it not?
Have you ever seen Macbeth or Anna Karenina?
Well, if it is anything like last week's episode (also 75 minutes) then the extra time is all commercials. Horrible.
Nowadays we have the opposite. Too many themes centered around crap.
As I said...
Weeds started off great, got so-so, improved in the last 2 seasons, and ended VERY well. I was very pleased with the fact that Nancy didn’t get to be happy in the end, she was too manipulative to deserve happiness.

The point is that there have always been dramas centered around sad and desperate people. BB is a cautionary tale.
