WaPo: Live: Police: Three shooters in Navy Yard shooting

Three shooters are involved in the Navy Yard shooting, a police spokeswoman said.

One of the shooters is “down,” police said, but two remain in a building on the grounds.

One of the shooters at large is dressed in fatigues. At least one has a long gun, police said.

Years ago a radio tower was cut down here. Some idiot Federale took to the airwaves prattling on about how it was an act of "obvious terrorism". "Malicious Destruction of a Broadcast Station". That it was a "sophisticated operation" done by "people with obvious engineering knowledge". And since it was a black-owned station, obviously the work of "right-wing racist extremists".

Some other “newswoman” said it was an AR-15 rifle which is, “The civilian equivalent of a military M-16 and it fires three short bursts when it is fired.” Obviously a person needs to take news reports with about a pound and a half of salt these days. They so often refer to shotguns as rifles that I half expect that the shooter will turn out to be using a shotgun now that it has been officially reported to be a rifle.
