John Kerry's Russian counterpart mocks him for talking too much

Secretary of State John Kerry's negotiations with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov got off to a rocky start Thursday, with the Russian mocking Kerry right at the outset.

"They got off to a really bad start yesterday --- partly because of the Putin op-ed and partly because Kerry in the opening remarks spoke at length --- and I mean at length --- compared to the unprepared few welcoming comments from the Russian counterpart," NBC News foreign correspondent Andrea Mitchell said on "Morning Joe."

"And then the Russian minister said at the end, very tartly, 'Sometimes diplomacy demands silence.'"

Mitchell said the tone improved after a private dinner yesterday evening, but Syrian dictator Bashar Assad's decision to set another precondition for handing over his chemical weapons (he wants the United States to stop arming the rebels, in addition to holding off on a military strike on his regime) is complicating matters.

What happened to Kerry’s face it has seemed to have caved in and his eye is all twisted?

Actually, I thought our congress wanted to stop arming the rebels....in Egypt, too. And don’t forget, Obama wrote a secret order to arm them.

John Kerry is a reflection of the idiot who picked him and the fools who voted to accept him.

This would be a funny joke if it were not so serious.

No one can say they weren’t warned by this idiots past of what a fool he was. The people who voted for a traitor, liar and fool, they knew it when they made him S.O.S.

Perhaps that is what they wanted ——someone who could actually make the former fool(Hillary) look good.

Mr. Kerry is not pleased. He just can't show it.

It would appear as though the Russian Foreign Minister is not as enamored with Kerry’s inane blathering as Kerry is... Shocking.

“Must say I’m immensely enjoying seeing lurch and bam-bam being put in their place.”

I live in Indy. I remember when Jeff George was the Colts QB. I had a grim satisfaction watching him cringe in the pocket just before he got sacked. I despised the guy, but when he got sacked I knew we were also going to lose the game.

I’m having the same feeling now. I also enjoy seeing 0bama and Kerry exposed for the incompetent boobs I always knew they were. But our county’s international standing is taking a beating. These guys are making Carter look like Churchill.

That's it. He is in love with the sound of his own voice. Especially when he is speaking French, he is immensely pleased with himself.

Kerry and Obama both suffer from a complex in which they think they have to prove that they are the smartest in the room. Kinda like the homely girl that thinks she is the cutest one.
It is sad to watch.

You Talk Too Much
Frankie Ford

You talk too much, you worry me to death
You talk too much, you even worry my pet
You just talk, you talk too much

You talk about people that you don’t know
You talk about people wherever you go
You just talk, you talk too much

You talk about people that you’ve never seen
You talk about people, you can make me scream
You just talk, you talk too much

(Repeat 1x)

Sad, but once again the Russian is correct.

I have been to functions with the likes of Biden, Kerry, (the late) Frank Lautenberg - and these guys can just not SHUT UP. They think the whole world wants to hear them blather on. In the 1990’s I once went to a small industry Q&A session regarding an important regulatory matter, and Joe Biden’s “opening comments” lasted 1+ hour. It left about 10 minutes for actual “Q&A.”

RE: "We will have to suffer the Russians for the next few years - but I’m OK with that."

Yes. I am willing to if it's ridicule of our enemies within; namely the 1960's Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho, spoiled brats and their ideological issue like Obama. Kerry is one of them (add insufferable arrogance). I recall reading that he arranged his room in college to resemble the Oval Office.

Ironically it was Khrushchev's ridicule of JFK in Vienna (1961) that got us into the Viet Nam war according to James "Scotty" Reston (NY Times icon and close friend of JFK). JFK had to show that he was tough.. Berlin meant a direct confrontation with the U.S.S.R. so one of the Soviet-backed "people's liberation wars" was the only real choice Kennedy had.

It's largely Kerry's disgusting doings from that era that is the source of Americans' disfavor.

At the time he was just another "anti-war," pro-communist, activist, and friend of Ted Kennedy and others of Kennedy's ilk. Read: path to the real Oval Office.

Based solely on my memory, about 20 years ago I believe Senator Kerry had a lot of influence vis-a-vis our MIA investigations and he hindered the investigations thus enabling a relative of his to obtain lucrative contracts with the Vietnamese communist government.

John Kerry says that Assad is a bad guy.

I guarantee Ho Chi Minh was much, much worse than Assad, even on Assad’s worst day.

The left has spent the past eighty years or so slowly, patiently and steadily infiltrating every aspect of American life. And Obama and Kerry are the culmination of this effort that took generations to accomplish. What an absolute waste of effort on their part.

The Russians have been handling them with kid gloves trying to help them succeed because they know these clowns are secretly their sycophantic allies. Yet their stupidity and boorishness makes it impossible for even the Russians to show them the way. The Russian push back is making Obama and company look like the shallow suits that they are even to our own fawning news media. How are they suppose to spin this for the low information voters. They don't know.

That is part of the reason why in Colorado two gun grabbers just got their walking papers. There is no enthusiasm left in the press. They achieved all of their goals and now they are stagnating unable to rouse even enough interest to save two lefty gun grabbers from a recall with only a fraction of their voters turning out for the election. How different from the attempt to take out Scott Walker in Wisconsin.

What we are witnessing is a possible tide change as great as the fall of the Berlin Wall. The left has reached its pinnacle with Obama and now they now have no place to go but down. Ironically perhaps we can give credit to our adversaries, the communists, the radical environmentalists, and even the Muslims for their own defeat. They have all over reached and mostly gotten what they asked for.

Now it is becoming plain for all to see that the warming trend that the world first entered a couple hundred years ago has now paused. The fiscal policies of Obama and company have extended what should have been a normal cyclic recession and turned it into a crisis that threatens the economic well being of generations. The “Arab Spring” has done nothing but cause the deaths of untold tens of thousands of innocent people and turned hundreds of thousands more into refugees. The left got what they wanted and it has exposed them as the frauds that they are.

I am not saying that our troubles with the left are over... just that it appears that they have reached their zenith temporarily at the least and that the pendulum is likely to swing back the other direction for the next couple of decades. The time is ripe for a true leader on the right to emerge.

Sigh, if only Kerry had stayed in Vietnam, instead of getting sent home for rice in his buttocks. We could have had Kerry talk the NVA into surrendering by virtue of his boring, pompous, droning. Would have been more effective than carpet bombing.
