If .. Barack Obama isnt happy with his press coverage in the United States, he ought to take a look at how hes being portrayed in the Arab media.
As Obama steps up his push for congressional authorization for a strike on Syria, the president is coming under withering criticism by opinion leaders throughout the Middle East, according to a review by POLITICO and experts of Arabic- and English-language media in the region.
The increasingly unfavorable coverage Obamas receiving in the Arab world - even come from the press in countries that support U.S. intervention in Syria - is doing harm to his image and influence, as well as further diminishing how America is perceived in the region, experts say. It hits especially hard coming at a time when Obama is looking anywhere he can, at home and abroad, to find allies for his plan to punish the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Obama sat in his oval office for two and a half years, counting the tens of thousands of Syrian victims, wrote Elias Harfoush in the pan-Arab and generally pro-Western Al-Hayat, which is based in London, according to a translation by The Times of Israel on Sept. 1. What has the US president done in this period? Nothing! Until last August with a slip of the tongue he made the mistake of warning Bashar Assad against crossing the red line of using chemical weapons against his people.

This muslim-on-muslim violence is really getting out of hand.
Oh please, who writes this CRAP? Yeah, Pullotico...the USA press coverage has been REAL TOUGH on the Clown, hasn't it?? I think the only personalities in the history of man who have received more fawning adulation from the American media are Mister Rogers and Shirley Temple.
Don't forget Trayvon Martin.
For those who say not striking will show US weakness, the Arab world already knows about our weakness. We haven’t done a damn thing about Benghazi.

Thanks. You’re right, I think. :)
The Sunni/Salafist media write about Obama in a different way than they did other president because they KNOW he is one of them - they are frustrated that from their perspective at times he doesn’t follow the script. No one would every argue that Obama is competent, not patriots in this country, not his his controllers abroad. It certainly isn’t for lack of trying on his part - he wants to dutifully implement the agenda of al Qaeda & Co.
“The Arab world?” Real Americans don’t care what the Islamist cucaracha gallery has to say.
There is a big difference. He’s in his second term.
He pretty much announced that he knew there were chemical weapons is use or about to be used in Syria and that he would move militarily.
