San Diego is a far different town than when I lived there decades ago.
A reflection (delayed a bit) of what has happened to my state of birth and where Reagan was governor.

SD used to be a conservative town.

San Diego is a far different town than when I lived there decades ago.Very true. I lived there most of my life. It became obvious that the demographics shifted such that my vote no longer counts. The laws became too oppressive. The cost of living skyrocketed. It's too damn crowded too. I moved to Idaho in Dec 2000. Although I've had to work in San Diego for the last 4 years, I have the comfort of being able to escape to my home in Idaho in 15 hours.

Perhaps we need back ground checks before issuing a drivers license in California; cars and trucks kill a lot more people in this state than guns do.
Not that I particularly want to give those cretins in Sacto any more stupid ideas.

Cars, alcohol and tobacco kill far more people than die by guns. When do we outlaw them?
