Ohio corrections officials say Ariel Castro who held three women captive in his home for nearly a decade has committed suicide at a state prison facility.

Spokeswoman JoEllen Smith says 53-year-old Castro was found hanging in his cell around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient. Prison medical staff performed CPR before Castro was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

I don’t rejoice in any death (flame suit on) and I hope the victims don’t take any guilt from Castro’s act. That is the residual affect from suicide, if that’s what it was. Lord knows they will have plenty to deal with as it is.

He probably offed himself, rather than face what was eventually going to be done to him by the other inmates. They let such types know what’s coming.

This “man” was nothing but a coward. He kidnapped and abused three women for 10 years. He felt big and powerful then. However, when he was put in captivity, captivity much less severe than his victims as he wasn’t being raped and beaten, he couldn’t even take it for a month. I would hate to have been him when he stood before God.

Hmm, never thought of it seeing/saying/hearing this phrase so often. But he won’t rot. He will just keep going on and on and on forever in hell. Well, unless he had some last-minute “come to Jesus”, which I doubt.
