My Daughter came home from School today. She is in 10th Grade. Her World History Teacher was overheard talking to another Faculty Member and the Students overheard bits and pieces. So they hounded the Teacher for info. So the Teacher informed the Class that there was gonna be a 3 day kit passed around for all the Students. They may be needed for the dates of Sept 28 to Oct 8....The Class was told to be prepared for Power outages. Teacher also informed Class that Russian Troops were Training on our Soil. The Class went nuts and asked tons of questions but the Teacher said that was all she had to say.

I'm not in the area right now. Work takes me there every couple of weeks or so. Sorry :-(

I don't know if it is legit or not yet. One person has been tasked with calling the school in question for more information. So far things seem to be lining up that this is preparation for GRID-X2 which is the nationwide drill on a power-down EMP knockout.

This might merely be a part of that drill. I will post more information as I get it.

Ft. Stewart is home to the 3rd infantry division. Also close by and in Savannah is Hunter Army Airfield, which is home to 1st battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment amongst others.

Savannah is also home to the Federal Training Center for a ton of alphabet agencies. Then there’s the submarine base down the road. Interesting.

The FLETC is down the road an hour or more in Brunswick, next to the airport there. King’s Bay, the boomer base, is past that up against the FL line.

Looks like GridEx 2 is a go for 11/13 and 11/14; don't know if that corresponds to the original dates in the original post.
