(Vanity) This old Republican has had it...
September 3, 2013 | Self

I finally had enough! We've finally gotten to a one party system in Washington as the republicans have completely lost any relevance. If you stand for nothing you stand for everything.

Here's my email to the RNC...

'Please remove me from all RNC mailings. The Republican party has become indistinguishable from the Dems and insider backscratching seems to be the name of the game rather than standing on conservative principles. I will be ending my party affiliation on my next trip to the county courthouse."

I quit my Gelding Old Party registration in 2006 right after they lost the Congress - GWB and his sidekick Rove would never stand up for anything they did or stood for. They wanted to take the high road - you see that this strategy gave us Piglosi, Reid and ultimately Obammy.

I told off my Lt. Gov RINO last week, you can see it here:

My reply:

Please remove me from your distribution list. I don’t need to hear from quisling GOPe members that have no sense of history. Your argument is the same that was made nearly 50 years ago and look where that got us. Instead of realizing history, you prefer to “build upon” the collectivism that will enslave my grandchildren.

I will fight, you can concede. Just stay out of our way.

That should be 1964 (Goldwater) to 1988 (Reagan).

“Rather strange that I see the day that freepers would fervently oppose bombing people who support terrorism and Saddam Hussein.”

And those that we would support in this bombing were the ones that killed 3,000 innocent Americans on American soil just short of 12 years ago.

I say let them kill each other as much as they please.

Good for you!!!

I am a big believer in term limits but how would that happen? My Representative (Thornberry) was all for it when he first ran for office. 17 years later he is still there. When I asked him about it on his Facebook page, I was blocked from ever commenting again.

I have yet to see ANY politician willing to bring it up. They always say “we already have term limits, it’s called voting” or some such crap.

There’s only one thing keeping me on the R for now: Presidential Preference Election for 2016. If the GOP doesn’t have a good candidate for me to vote for, then I’m gone. I have no other use for them.

“Now, I supported someone else in the primary, but in the general, I supported Romney. I wouldn’t do that again.”

I was the same, however I did so with the full knowledge that Romney was a RINO. I only did so knowing that a R victory at that immediate moment was the only way we could repeal Obamacare. Now that we have lost that opportunity, I will never make the same choice.

An R candidate will no longer get my vote, unless they are clearly and unabashadly Conservative.

There are only two parties any more in America: The Ruling Class and the people.

It is starting to look like that. I resigned from the GOP when Romney was forced down our throats by the Fat Cat wing of the party. I'll still work for a candidate of my choice if she/he happens to be on the Republican slate but party affiliation took a big hit with the Mittster.

I wouldn't despair too much on the longer view, though. The wreck of the party after the media decided to become a major power broker during the Watergate putsch did, in time, coalesce to give us Ronald Reagan. Maybe that was a one-off, maybe not. We'll have to see.

Gone independent, gone international, gone galt, gone.

Proud not to have voted for the most recent RINO in the Central Party Presidential Election.

You are a little more patient than I am. I quit the GOP and re-registered as a non-affiliated voter about 6 months ago.

Good luck with that. I sent a similar letter of complaint. They now send more than ever!

Unless there is a “silent majority” out there, what you say is absolutely true. We will find out in about three years.

Meanwhile, the bayonet at our back will be the Hillary pollsmanship, you know, threatening that only the RINO candidate can have hope of matching or besting her.

Of course that will be true, after they annihilate the usual “radicals”, the conservatives. What a rat wheel we’re on. Thx.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA!

REVOLUTION IS HARD, AND IT’S SCARY.

I take it you will not be participating?

There are risks, sure, and we may have to lose to win. This no tea party. This is TEA PARTY, or BUST.

Take it over to Scarborough and Mika. They will buy into the lemming theory, so prevalent in the RINO Department of the Republican Party.

Game on.
