Getting Congressional approval in Obama’s mind is just window dressing, he’s going into Syria regardless of what Congress says and these Senators are going along on the train ride.
I’d...be really happy about RP as president. To say the least.
You’re an asshat, McCain.
that insults people named “Linda” ;)
The kenyan knows he can handle Boehner & McConnell. They are terrified of engaging him. Boehner is busy planning amnesty and McConnell is hiding under his desk trying to get reelected. What a mess.
I didn’t think that was possible!
I watched a clip of McCain on Leno the other night. My best guess is that someone flatters McCain by pretending he is intelligent and then tells him what to do and say. He is too clueless to know he is being manipulated, but is intelligent enough to remember what he was told to say.
My second best guess is that he is being paid to say what he says.
In either case, he loves the attention and as long as he stays on camera or in the news he is happy.
I shall remember that in the future Ms. Linda. ;)
Apologies...
I was teasing ya...sort of. LOL!
Very good reasons given by Farage for not attacking Syria.
Thanks
That may be. There is also a strong undercurrent against these overseas adventures. That crowd shifted to Obama after Bush, but it seems clear Obama is even more anxious to get involved in these middle east wars. When the public rejects that, they’ll be looking for an alternative, and that will be a Rand Paul type. Part of the natural pendulum swing.
I am with you for sure. I’d pick Cruz first, Paul second. I think Cruz has the chops to make a great candidate. Paul is awesome, too. I am a fan of both.
I am curious to see how their relations unfold...whether one or the other will run in 2016, or if they will both vie for the position. If so, they are both going to be going after the same voters. Would be a wild race.
It would be catastrophic the for the muzzies who are killing each other. Apparently McAmnesty and Grahamnesty are more concerned with islam self destructing than the U.S. supporting either muzzie faction.
The timing is very suspicious. I’ve said before, its a phony war to distract from ‘phony’ scandals. I don’t think it’s Obama care so much as reconvening congressional committees they want to dispel.
I voted for McCain. Between amnesty and Syria, I’m kinda glad we have Obama. McCain would have torn the GOP apart ...
The historians are likely to credit Obama for one positive contribution to the US of A.
He saved us from a McCain administration...
PS: I voted for him, too...characterizing it as a choice between a "disaster" and a "catastrophe". I voted for "disaster".
Period.
It would be a huge mistake for him to ask for it, thereby forcing Congress to refuse him. It would be an even bigger mistake for Congress to grant his request. When the sharks and the piranhas have a rumble, you don’t jump in to save the little baby piranhas from the sharks.
