Everyone’s comparing this to Iraq. Actually, it’s more like Libya. NATO (or whoever) voted for limited air support so the defeated “freedom fighters” could safely return home. Surprise!

Well his dad was doing something along those lines for Adolf.
That family has blight all over it.
When each of us dies, I think God looks back on our lives, and either thinks, “There’s one who got it, there’s one who nearly got it, and there’s one I will always mourn for, who never got it and lived a life so much less than I would have wanted him to.”
I think God feels pain to see the evil die. That’s why I don’t really relish the death of anyone.
The death of the evil, seals their fate. God has lost that one.

And where is Mitch McConnell during all of this?
If he's running for reelection, why doesn't he demonstrate some leadership here?

If this congress passes the Syria war with no additional evidence of info about the goals and exit plans, we are looking at president Rand Paul in three years.
Let's hope not.
All we (DON'T)need is another Amnesty Queen like Rand Paul at the helm of our country.

"The Congress shall have power... To declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water; I reread Article II just to be sure. I couldn't find "The President shall have the power to lob explosives anywhere he damn well pleases without having to ask anyone. Maybe it's a penumbra. "
Amen. The best and only answer for America is to vote NO. A revolutionary war means people are killing each other. Let them have at it.

McCain has become a bit of a dotard.
The only reason for attacking Syria would have to be the national security interest of the USA.
It would have to be real.
It would have to be significant.
It would have to be completely achievable.
It must not provide an advantage to any enemy of the USA faction or government now operating in Syria.
The only mission I can conceive of would be totally taking out all Syria’s WMDs and capacity to produce WMDs so that no enemy faction and no portion of the Assad government would have access to them. The end state would be zero WMDs in Syria, no capacity to produce more, and all WMDs denied anyone in Syria.
Militarily, we could accomplish that, but there’s no way that Obama is going to do it. Instead he wants to look ridiculous by lobbing a few cruise missiles into some target that will get him headlines and maybe help al queda a bit.
In the meantime, John McCain. Shut up, John. You lost.

Hey John McCain ?
Let UN Sanctions work before any kind of action in Syria.
Remember ? that's what all the Liberals, Main Stream Media would tell us before we went into Iraq or before we go into Iran.
