I remember bands like the Beach Boys (this is dating me, I know) used to come on an hour late or so, just to build up the tension. Or unnecessarily rile up the crowd. Or maybe it was to mellow out from the last line they took so they could stumble on stage to adoring cheers from the restless and stoned masses?

At the Mexican border, Obama gave Fast&Furious guns to narcoterrorists and al Qaeda. We keep mentioning F&F, but wasn't there also a domestic "failed program" run along similar lines, putting guns &/or drugs into the hands of domestic gangs? Haven't heard anything about that in ages.

I wasn’t going to even watch, but when they said on the radio that the whole world will be watching, I felt maybe I should. It is a horrible feeling to feel this disconnected from what they see as the USA.
