The President will deliver a statement on Syria at 1:15 pm today in the Rose Garden today.
Wonder what Valerie is going to say now?
Must be raining in DC today.
Oliver North on Fox just now said he stopped by Pentagon this morning to see old friends. Said all he spoke to are opposed to Obama’s planned attack on Syria. But none have guts, including four stars, to say that to Obama. Said SecDef Hagel should stand up to Obama. Sad state of affairs.
Obama: “After careful review, I have decided that military action in Syria will not be in the interest of the Syrian people at this time. I don’t think we should be dragged into another war because Republican senators think there are WMDs.”
Media: “Wow, he’s so assertive and tactical. What a great commander in chief. Damn war-mongering Republicans.”
American People: “President Obama kept us out of war. Yay!”
North also said his best guess is attack tomorrow night.
Chris Matthews: “He’s the perfect American! He has a wonderful family! He keeps us out of wars. The Republicans clearly think that he is not entitled to the presidency, and part of it is RACISM!”
The sad thing is...that will work!
Pensions and stars are very powerful weapons of cooperation.
Good work tho for starting the thread .. will check back later to see what flavor of CF the sissy traitor yammered on about.
Just in time for the Mid-term runups with unemployment on the rise and Obamacare a disaster. The president destroys our image abroad to his own political benefit. What a s9itstain.
Lucky for him he’s going up against one of the most lame college football lineups this season. So now I’ll end up watching some game I care little about.
Chief War Cloud speaks.
And— “mass destruction”!
Can’t believe a thing that comes out of his lying lips.
I’m watching football.
The pResident
“I never promised you a Rose Garden. No. Not me. That’s not on me. That’s not mine.
“Along with all the good times we’ve been enjoying these past five, very long years, there’s gotta be a little rain some time, let me be clear about that.
“So make no mistake about it—smile for a while and let’s be jolly, life doesn’t need to be melancholy... what the.....
“Jay!”
Lol did you hear how Putin addressed Obama today
He’s going to shoot some cruise missiles “across the bow” and hope that all his Syria troubles simply go away. I wonder how he’ll react if Assad launches another chemical attack. Then the U.S. will really be in a bind. This might escalate out of control, as most wars tend to do.
What interest does the USA have in this war? I just don’t understand our involvement in this internal civil war? Assad has murdered thousands of his people over the last several decades. Now, were concerned? This makes no sense.
