Islamist terrorists have killed 24 security personnel in an ambush in northern Sinai, officials in Egypt have claimed, according to Sky News.
The BBC reported that the people killed were members of the police. They were traveling in two buses which came under attack from armed men close to the town of Rafah, on the Gaza border, security forces said.
A number of policemen were also reported to have been injured in the blast.
Multiple reports circulating on the Twitter network said that the policemen were made to lie down and then shot, execution style. Security sources cited by the BBC said four armed men had stopped the police buses and forced the passengers to get out before shooting them.

Israel has been telling the Egyptians for 10 years to reign them in but nobody listened.

We you see a trend developing, need to snip it in the bud. Now there is a virtual Jihad army running amok in the Sinai and with each passing day they are more barbaric.
First it starts by detonating the gas pipelines to Israel and Jordan. Then they storm the Israeli (and later American) embassies in Cairo, then they go berserk on Hosni, then they go berserk on Morsi, then they go berserk on A-Si-si, now they go berserk on each other...
Bottom line, they are programmed to go berserk, all the time, it's just the targets that change...
Which is exactly why we should NEVER arm muslims with any kind of weapons.

Moderates are not to be trusted unless they are fighting the other two. Then we can praise them, arm them and train them. An example of a Moderate is Mahmoud Abbas of the PLO, oops, I mean Great Leader of the Palestinian Authority. These guys just kill Jews and an occasional aid worker or blow up whole families.
Militant Muslims are to be avoided unless they are fighting the Radical Muslim. Then we can cautiously supply them with small arms, shoulder fired missiles and RPGs. An example of a Militant Muslim are some factions within the PLO, Syrian rebel groups and some Libyan, anti-Khaddafy types. These guys kill anybody who prevents them from killing the Moderate Muslims and they like to blow themselves up in order to get into their heaven.These guys basically seek political power in their countres or in their local region.
Radical Muslims are Al-Qaieda and Salafist Jihad HAMAS and HIZBOLLAH types. These guys build armies and try to obtain everything from surface to surface missiles to atomic or dirty bombs. These are the real bad guys. Many of these types are at war with the two previous types and cannot stop themselves from killing as many people as possible. These folks have a concept for world order under the Caliphate Muslim-Nazi dictatorship.
A unique example of an individual who managed to cover all three types was Yassir Arafart. Arafart started out as a Radical, migrated to become a Militant and then, low and behold, was given the Noble Peace Prize as he edged out of the Moderate camp into the damn Peacemaker title. Incredible, no?
So, you see as long as we define them in this way, so they will continue to ask for money and arms in order to hold the peace.
Don’t the police carry guns over there? How can they permit themselves to be stopped and executed without even trying to defend themselves?
I hate to say it folks, but here is the truth. We should have backed both Assad and the Egytptian military from the start. These neanderthals can’t even spell the word democracy. All O’dummy is doing is repeating the mistakes of Jimmy Carter in creating the radical state of Iran!
The policy of replacing heavy-handed thugs in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Egypt, and now Syria is really dumb. Things were going pretty well under the dictators, keeping their populations in check. Now what can be done? This is creating resentments that will fuel terrorism for decades.
Muslim immigration to the EU is starting to thoroughly familiarize the European people with Muslim behavior.
