Actor and LGBT activist George Takei weighed in on Russia's harsh new anti-gay policiesand the news that those policies would be enforced on athletes and spectators at the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014.
"Given this position, the IOC must do the right thing, protect its athletes and the fans, and move the 2014 Winter Olympics out of Russia," wrote Takei on his blog.

George Takei petitions: 'Move the 2014 Winter Olympics out of Russia' (video)Takei, how about you care more about your country first and move obama out of the White House? I mean, yeah, you place a priority on your fecal fascination, but people are suffering almost as much as you do from gender identity disorder.

George, shut up. We like you as Sulu, not Georgie Porgie, the newly self-proclaimed homosexual activist. STFU, and go back to autographing stuff at Star Trek conventions.

Are the fags this internationally powerful yet? I say no. In 5 years, yes, they will be able to get their way on anything. But not yet.

From the linked article: An athlete of nontraditional sexual orientation isnt banned from coming to Sochi, Russias sports minister Vitaly Mutko said in an interview last Thursday. But if he goes out into the streets and starts to propagandize, then of course he will be held accountable.
Oh, my! I guess George missed this part. Gay athletes can attend and participate. They just can't propagandize or recruit. Upon closer inspection, these restrictions don't seem particularly onerous.

They won’t be powerful until they are accepted into the Muslim mainstream. Even though we all know what happens in Islamafagia, they will blow themselves up to keep their secrets.

The Russians are mean.
We hate them. Obama, Takei, Graham and all the He-Man Woman Haters.

Russia would be well advised to learn the lesson that any compromise with these activists will never be enough for them. Conservatives here tried to take the high road but we have wound up with open gay propagandizing in our taxpayer funded public schools.
Nothing seems to drive the gay lobby crazy faster than just saying no to them on any issue. For once I want to see them not get their way on something, a shame it has to be in Russia and not here but at least its something to be positive about in this glut of depressing news in our own country.I never thought I would see the day (and I am only 41) that it would be considered outrageous that children should not be exposed to homosexual information at a young age.

Quite a reversal from a generation ago when the Russians were thinking all wrong.

The balance beam the track events and everything?Yeah, I hear they've decided to switch summer and winter events based on Emperor obama's gaffe, since they don't want to contrdict him, which would make him look stupid.
Summer is going to have downhill grass skiing, figure skating in the pool, curling on the soccer field's parking lot, and bobsled on the mountain bike course.
We've been advised to expect lower scores and higher times since the athletes will take some time to adjust.

They won't be moved. It's too late. But they may get cancelled.
If Russia cannot and will not guarantee the safety of the athletes, then they need to give up the games.
In 1980, the US boycotted the Russia games because Carter was an idi-- because of Afghanistan or something. But at the same time, in the same year, we allowed Russian to send their athletes to Lake Placid, NY because the host country can't pick and choose which athletes it allows in.
So as a practical matter, don't move the Games. It's a 12-year process, and you're not going to get it done by next year.
The IOC needs to tell Russia to behave or they'll cancel the games and leave them holding the bag for all the expenses incurred so far.
Think this one through, guys.
