While conservatives and liberals consider the political leanings of Washington Post buyer and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in an attempt to divine how his politics will affect those of the historic institution, the truth appears to be far simpler: the Post is now Bezos’ latest political tool in a crony capitalist effort to work with the Obama administration. How else to explain President Obama puzzling decision last week to roll out his corporate tax plan at an Amazon.com fulfillment center? Bezos spent $250 million of his own money to purchase the Post, which is bleeding money at an incredible rate

Bezos caught lightning in a bottle when he came up with the Amazon idea. It doesn’t mean he’s smart. Quite the contrary, I’d say.

This makes me think of anti-trust but instead this time it’s between the government and big business waging a war on the little guy.

I’d say the connection is that WaPo is now going to be pretty much indistinguishable from the White House speechwriters’ room. You know those many instances of MSNBC apparatchiks making no effort whatsoever to hide that they were reading tweets from the White House directly on air as content? Like that.

Why did Bezon even bother? The circulation of WaPo is less than 500,000 - 1/6 that of the WSJ.

Advertisers care about paid circulation. Politicians and men who see themselves as 'movers and shakers' care about political influence. The Washington Post has residual influence.

These large media purchases are simply the libs’ way of spreading cash around to their cronies and paying each other off.

I've been a customer of amazon for many years.
No more business from me.

I'm not going to willingly help fund folks who worship at his altar.

It's enough that the American people are being stolen from every day.
I'm not going to help people like them get more.

There seems to be no way to escape these people. It is pathetic and disgusting. As for Obama; no end to his ‘accommodations’. Granted Hillary is as Left; but wondering if they be used for Hillary as easily; or is something else in the fire - or payoff - for Obama?
