RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
A large crowd gathered near the Federal Courthouse in Richmond as part of the "Justice for Trayvon" rallies happening all over the country.
Mayor Dwight Jones and several other pastors spoke out at Saturday's event. It's been one week since a jury rendered a not guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman trial.
City and community leaders took this opportunity to push for more peace in the streets.
Richmond Mayor Dwight Jones shared his views on Florida's controversial Stand Your Ground law to the crowd.
"Stand your ground is something that doesn't exist in Virginia it exists in Florida because all of us know that something needs to be done about Stand Your Ground, because Trayvon Martin did not have any ground to stand on and when an individual is unarmed and approached and accosted by somebody who is armed and he wounds up dead something is not moral something is not right I don't care if it's legal, it's not right," said Jones.

“dozens” = “a large crowd” ???
Bzzzt....run-on sentence, Dwight. Mrs. Hatfield in fifth grade gave me Fs for these. This one ends with a comma, no less. I wonder how much longer the drivel continued to pour from his mouth.

Well, dozens of people would be a large crowd at a private party.
At a public protest...not so much.
Interesting how the only long shots in the video were from other cities. All the Richmond shots were tight so as to not show the small size of the crowd. Of course, quick cuts from Richmond to other cities and back were also used to fool those who weren’t looking closely or not familiar with Richmond. Lovely propaganda.
dozens could be 12 - 144. without a crowd estimate, both are accurate
dozens - not worthy of being called “a large crowd”
Across the nation,,,,hundreds marched in the heat of a summer Saturday to rally at federal courthouses in Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and other cities, demanding “Justice for Trayvon.”
dozens eh?
so the____>>hundreds<<____ may WELL BE the sum total????
the urinalist -community thinks we’re too stupid to CATCH ON to the Point Of Veiw TRICKERY thats always been their stock in trade to “reframe” the size of these “Crowds”

I’m sure there were bigger wedding receptions this weekend.
Whatever ya do, DO NOT post any pics of all the protesters blocking highways and disrupting city council meetings in Texas...
Remember when there were tea party grass root protests with thousands of people that were never reported by the propaganda organs?
Now a couple dozens astroturfers make national news.
That’s “new school” speak - incoherent and entirely wrong on the facts.
Thank “The Benghazi Barry Media”-our biggest enemy—(next to Valerie Jarrett——Iranian born.)
I hope “MoM” sues the crap outta NBC—and then goes on to sue local news. I can recommend some stations in Atlanta that need a serious spanking.
Nation wide they probably had less than 10k show up, and that’s being generous.
Once again, these idiots spew forth lies about the case. yes, GZ needs to sue all the tv stations, and any other media outlet who twisted the facts - I don’t know who I’m angrier with - the news media or the sheeple who believe them and parrot their talking points. Most everyone has a computer and the ability to check out the facts for themselves. Instead, they listen to the baiters, liars and hustlers.
I drove by this “crowd” yesterday. There were about 30 people lined up to get water from a large jug. Two black women were trying to figure out how to operate said jug. I about split a gut laughing.
