Heres Momentums official copy:
Fast food doesnt have to have a negative connotation anymore. With our technology, a restaurant can offer gourmet quality burgers at fast food prices.
Our alpha machine replaces all of the hamburger line cooks in a restaurant.
It does everything employees can do except better:
t slices toppings like tomatoes and pickles only immediately before it places the slice onto your burger, giving you the freshest burger possible. Our next revision will offer custom meat grinds for every single customer. Want a patty with 1/3 pork and 2/3 bison ground after you place your order? No problem.
Also, our next revision will use gourmet cooking techniques never before used in a fast food restaurant, giving the patty the perfect char but keeping in all the juices. Its more consistent, more sanitary, and can produce ~360 hamburgers per hour.
The labor savings allow a restaurant to spend approximately twice as much on high quality ingredients and the gourmet cooking techniques make the ingredients taste that much better.

Looks like they maybe out of business
a gourmet hamburger? now there’s an oxymoron!
I ate a fair amount of Army chow in my day...most of which tasted like it was cooked by robots.
Yeah, you just keep on telling yourself that a robot prepared meal is saliva free, meatbag.
They’ll have to concoct some spit-flavoured additives — otherwise people won’t believe they’re getting a real burger.
I suspect that within a couple decades, a whole lot of jobs will be replaced by robotics or automated systems. Lower-level service industry work will take the biggest hit, but so will a lot of “white-collar” functions. And there are quasi-automated functions like prefab building panels (with wiring and plumbing and all) that are still in the early stages of their full potential.
I’m not really sure how the future will deal with this. What happens when “entry level” jobs simply no longer exist? Beats me.
It is kind of odd to pass off a century-old idea as "innovative". Wake me up when Herr Ober is open for business.
No worry about them washing their hands after they take a dump.
The Automat still required a line kitchen behind to prepare the food; and indeed, everything in the Automat was pre-plated. This is different: prepare-to-order with no staff.
Obamacare will have to be amended to include robot maintenance fees.
imagine how much people will demand zombie labor free restaurants.
The 1950's Miracle Kitchen of the Future is finally here!

Waiting for the television program where Gordon Ramsay shows up and tells it it’s doing it all wrong.
This burger is RAWR!!!!
It’s an odd choice to automate. Developing a roofing robot is an easier task and saves $18/hour in workmans comp insurance costs.
Shhhh. The Rev. Jesse "Shake Down" Jackson will want a piece, claiming he invented spitting in [white] people's food...
