Justice: Only about a quarter of the public closely followed the Zimmerman trial, yet the media treat it as the event of the century. They, like their professional agitator cohorts, thrive on racial animosity.
A new Pew Research Center weekend survey finds that a mere 26% of Americans followed Zimmerman's trial for second degree murder of Trayvon Martin "very closely."
But Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and NAACP chief Ben Jealous have shown in media appearances that they are racial arsonists, stoking the flames of racial discord in a country that has virtually eliminated the discrimination that existed before the civil rights era.
Sharpton & Co. are the opposite of civil rights leaders. Black advancement or success are the last things they want; they seek racial friction, to profit from it.
Sharpton became known, of course, with the Tawana Brawley outrage in 1987, in which white police officers were falsely accused of rape and racist violence. Jealous' NAACP this week absurdly called the Trayvon Martin killing a "modern-day lynching," in spite of Zimmerman being Hispanic, not white, and of his tutoring black children for free.
Consider the facts that negate the media's ludicrous narrative of Zimmerman's not guilty verdict:
• The U.S. elected and just re-elected a black president — despite his many failures and broken promises.

The violent rioters and people killing whites and Hispanics in Trayvon’s name might not agree with the authors.
This racist activism and destruction of property and violence by ignorant blacks is backfiring, BiG TIME! The media is getting is share of condemnation too for trying to gin up division and race wars.
There actions are literally opening everyone’s eyes!
Rush mentioned this today - and wondered what the percentage would have been had the Pew researchers asked about the "Trayvon Martin trial".

I tend to agree with you. We’ll soon know because Holder and other race hustlers are overplaying their hand, in my view.
The media and fellow professional race baiters thrive on racial animosity ( never letting a crisis go to waste ).
These professional race profiteers have a business model.
And the MSM is lamenting the fact that they don’t have a ratings boosting riot. After all, they spent months instigating it.
Truth is, Trayvon is not any different than all the other young black thugs throughout the ghetto who die young. It happens all too often. It’s shameful.

Barely followed it myself. Had to quit watching the news cuz it was all they we’re reporting.
Not only the liberals...FR...FOX...National Review it was all consuming. I can’t believe that many people would care about one shooting.

It has been a few days since the verdict and I still have yet to see a national poll by one of the big polling companies about this case. All I can find are online polls. I wonder if such polls have been conducted and the results are not conducive to the “outraged nation” mantra the MSM has been pushing? Usually they can have a scientific poll out within 24 hours on any issue.
IMO, they SO want to lash out, but they know ... they'd better not.

and with all the stupid statements out there about how Trayvon was innocent explains a lot.
They'll just keep on trying harder...
That surprised me too, especially with the way it was covered in the media.
It was noted that many black people followed the trial on TV intensely, far more than most white people. And what isn’t being said is that many of the black people *agreed* with the jury.
Black on black crime matters most to black people, and they will agree that young black men frighten them, not just everyone else. They did not see Trayvon as “one of us”, but one of those wild, dangerous, young men, who threaten everyone. There is no great embrace of “gangstas” by anyone who isn’t a gangsta.
So when the race pimps and self appointed “black leaders” come forward, there is only a limited number of black people supporting them. And this is why riots are few and far between.
Just as importantly, Hispanics and Latinos have been *very* quiet about this whole deal. Watching and learning. They saw who supported Zimmerman, as well as who wants to crucify him. This may figure into future elections.
If they figure that Democrats will sacrifice Hispanics-Latinos on the altar of black America, it may cost the Democrats a lot of H-L votes.
