Justice: Only about a quarter of the public closely followed the Zimmerman trial, yet the media treat it as the event of the century. They, like their professional agitator cohorts, thrive on racial animosity.
A new Pew Research Center weekend survey finds that a mere 26% of Americans followed Zimmerman's trial for second degree murder of Trayvon Martin "very closely."
But Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and NAACP chief Ben Jealous have shown in media appearances that they are racial arsonists, stoking the flames of racial discord in a country that has virtually eliminated the discrimination that existed before the civil rights era.
Sharpton & Co. are the opposite of civil rights leaders. Black advancement or success are the last things they want; they seek racial friction, to profit from it.
Sharpton became known, of course, with the Tawana Brawley outrage in 1987, in which white police officers were falsely accused of rape and racist violence. Jealous' NAACP this week absurdly called the Trayvon Martin killing a "modern-day lynching," in spite of Zimmerman being Hispanic, not white, and of his tutoring black children for free.
Consider the facts that negate the media's ludicrous narrative of Zimmerman's not guilty verdict:
The U.S. elected and just re-elected a black president despite his many failures and broken promises.

I nearly fell off my chair laughing at the shock and dismay expressed when some members of the media were attacked in LA by some larcenous, violent thugs who the media had been portraying as righteous defenders of civil rights. They're the last to know when somebody just isn't buying their narrative, and it's going to cost them some blood if they don't get a clue pretty soon.
Who ?
No one had a clue and I know a few are retired and watch TV.
One guy, late 30's, hard working coal miner white hat said, "O yeah ... I heard something about that ... how'd it go?"
it has a whole lot more to do with things other than a mere shooting.
Gun Control
Self-defense
Liberal Racism
Corrupt Media
Corrupt Government
That trial was a not guilty script from the start.
That was hilarious. The enemedia are out there to stir up the idiots for a story and some of those idiots turn on them.
That’s not spose to happen in their lib world. LOL!
So true, but the leftists were outraged anyway, of course they outrage easily. :-)
Yeah - priceless...did you ever hold a riot and nobody showed? They are in major, comical catch up mode now.
“And the MSM is lamenting the fact that they dont have a ratings boosting riot.”
I think even most blacks know self-defense when they see it.
And they recognized it from the outset.
Recall that there was a full three week period after the killing occurred and before the national media started pushing the story.
During this period, there were no protests, no demonstrations, no riots in Sanford. The local media covered the story thoroughly and featured the eyewitness reports, the observed condition of the two principals, plus background on the development's recent crime wave.
The police were reportedly non-committal but obviously leaning "self-defense". And the community seemed to understand and accept that.
THEN, the MSM got on the case...and along came the Justice Brothers and Eric Holder's rabble-rousers. From thatr moment forward, everything changed.
...and the exceptions are AA TV pundits...every one of them...and most of them are lawyers too.
What is really injured, bruised, if you will, is the psyche of our national population."
Author, poet, and activist Maya Angelou was shaken by the verdict of the George Zimmerman trial, saying it shows how far we have to go as a country. That one man, armed with a gun can actually profile a young man because he is black and end up shooting him dead It is so painful, Angelou said in an interview with TIME Monday.

Races: Death and Transfiguration
Friday, Mar. 05, 1965
Malcolm X had been a pimp, a cocaine addict and a thief. He was an unashamed demagogue. His gospel was hatred: "Your little babies will get polio!" he cried to the "white devils." His creed was violence: "If ballots won't work, bullets will."
Yet even before his bullet-ripped body went to its grave, Malcolm X was being sanctified. Negro leaders called him "brilliant," said he had recently "moderated" his views, blamed his assassination on "the white power structure" or, in the case of Martin Luther King, on a "society sick enough to express dissent with murder."
I live in southeast Florida, about 90 miles from Orlando. I’m in medical equipment and thus serve the needs of local blacks and hispanics. I’m frequently in homes in various towns around here. I’ve not a moments problem or a cross word from anyone. Quit the contrary, most of these folks are decent, family oriented and employed. It is apparent to me the trouble makers are brain washed urban dwellers.
I’m Lilly White and pretty much in the minority in most of these towns.
Barely followed it myself.
...your decision...your loss...
I cant believe that many people would care about one shooting.
...because it so perfectly encapsulates the essence of our fractured and dysfunctional society, the spectacular failure of attempted assimilation between two utterly disparate cultures...
If they figure that Democrats will sacrifice Hispanics-Latinos on the altar of black America, it may cost the Democrats a lot of H-L votes.
...don’t bet your house on it...
Unlike blacks, Hispanics-Latinos are far from monolithic, culturally, politically, or by degree of integration. But first of all, some axioms.
63% of H-L’s are Mexican. 9% Puerto Rican. All others combined about 7%. Mixed race make up the balance. So for the most part, Hispanic-Latino means ethnically Mexican.
Mexican-Americans in California are both ghettoized and solidly blue. In Texas, Mexican-Americans are much more integrated, and outside of presidential races, about 40% of them vote reliably Republican, and that number is growing.
Importantly, Mexican-American politicians in Texas are much more politically polarized than are Mexican-American voters, either hard left or hard right, like Ted Cruz.
While Democrats tend to patronize minorities, which works very well with blacks, Mexicans are much more resistant to empty promises, instead of actual gains.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
