The only real equality is in the eyes of the Lord. I do not consider all car repair facilities to be equal, nor do I consider all human beings to be equal. We are, however, all equal in the eyes of the Lord.

We are all born of “equal value” as human beings. After that, what family you were born into, natural talents, work ethic, etc. all play into how much value you bring to other people and how much respect, money, etc. you earn throughout your life. But to imply there is some God given equality of outcome guraranteed to everyone is patently absurd.

It’s fun to read Ecclesiastes cover to cover to get a nice perspective on the whole thing. Also, the bible is pretty clear: you don’t work? You don’t eat. It talks about helping widows and orphans. I don’t think most of these people are either.

A House immigration bill will just be the final nail in the coffin, IMO. With the Gang of Eight, Rubio and Gowdy turning out to be untrustworthy, and given the candidates the GOP insists on putting up for president, I think the GOP is just an outdated relic now.

And, while my husband thinks I am pretty special, I am, for sure, not alone in my view. There are many, many disgruntled conservatives who are tired of the tired old GOP.
