I think it’s pretty funny that the transcripts are verbatim, using her pidgin English. it really detracts from any credibility that she has.
Another interesting point: She’d “advise you not to be around black people” when if you drop the N-bomb, “because they’re not going to have it like that”. But in a stunning reversal of logic, she apparently feels that she can use “cracka” in front of whites and expect no bad results. Gosh, Rachael, shouldn’t you expect the same beating if you say ‘cracka” in front of white guys, or is there a ....a....a DOUBLE STANDARD here?
The same crown that screams “equal equal equal” at almost every other breath then expects “special special special”. Ms. Jeantel, along with Mr. Crump, Mr. Holder and everyone else who is crying in their beer over this, would be very unhappy indeed if everything were, indeed, “equal”, because that’s the LAST the above named individuals appear to want.
Perhaps she can learn the definition of the work “equal” at the same time she’s learning cursive.

When you say something offensive around civilized people, you have no fear of physical repercussions,

The fact that it doesn’t seem to matter is the reason they can never achieve the respectability they seem to want. Respect is earned, not given. They want it to be given just like food stamps.
