I too think you are right, but they sure as hell WANT.
One thing to never forget, their WANT does not exceed the value of “their” life, under any circumstance.
A generation back into work or starve, their opinion of schooling will dramatically change, just like it did previous to Marchin Luther and the race baiters.
I am 100% for equality, but they are sure not equal in any respect when Jeantel is their spokesperson or skittles is their icon!

We are all born of “equal value” as human beings. After that, what family you were born into, natural talents, work ethic, etc. all play into how much value you bring to other people and how much respect, money, etc. you earn throughout your life. But to imply there is some God given equality of outcome guraranteed to everyone is patently absurd.
It’s fun to read Ecclesiastes cover to cover to get a nice perspective on the whole thing. Also, the bible is pretty clear: you don’t work? You don’t eat. It talks about helping widows and orphans. I don’t think most of these people are either.
