I am waiting for the riots. So far there is only the usual bitching by the ding-a-lings in San Francisco and Oakland. There is more merrymaking after a football game than what has happened. Where are the riots. (crickets chirping)
I have an idea. We have all been remarking about how the media has blown this trial sky high. Is it possible they are also blowing the possibility of rioting sky high in order to retain some credibility?. I am beginning to think so. I do hope I am right.
Should get a good workout today.
See y'all latah
Bronco Bama.
I would not feel so all alone...
He’s also the author of my tagline.
“You may work in a barber shop, you may know how to cut hair
You may be somebody’s mistress, may be somebody’s heir”
...We could go on forever with this, couldn’t we?
A damn shame. 6 jurors did their job and now the riots begin. I feel bad for the very small minority of blacks who have consciences.
Because there's something happening here, and you don't know what it is...
Um, I did. I replied to it. Did you not read it?
We’ll hit 50 before Monday.
The verdict came too late last nite. They will have all day to stew. Look for trouble tonight. If not, hopefully there will be none.
Wait until noon. They won’t be up until then.
This Big Bad Hood attitude is what got little Trayvon killed and it’s what kills 9000 black kids per year. Yet, they don’t care. They love and embrace this culture.
I agree that the tweets, posts and rants online by the thugocracy is little more than “gorillas in the mist”. But that being that, it’s hardly inconsequential.
Thing is, we are dealing with groupthink on a nationwide scale. If the message gets put out loud and often enough, we’ll see ash in the skies.
Can there be a civil suit if someone is declared Not Guilty?
Who brings the suit, in which court and on what grounds and if they do, will it be accepted? If a suit is brought, the plaintiff pays the costs upfront and there will be discovery, this time, and all of TM’s past history will come out.
If nothing have been filed by tomorrow morning, I think we can assume it is all over.
We could go on forever with this, couldnt we?
Speaking of vanity threads, I am considering one that inquires if a 22 would have been as effective if it followed the same path through the heart.
I have arthritis in my right wrist and the sharpness of the Keltec P-3AT is making for a lot of pain after a little range time.
Anyone have a forensic opinion? I was watching the testimony of the forensic expert, but I didn’t see the issue addressed.
Just as a follow up. We found out that a center mass shot could take out the entire heart and you would still be in danger for up to 15 seconds. 15 seconds is a LONG time in a deadly encounter. While I realize a larger caliber would also tend to knock back the target, they could still get back up and continue the attack.
In a “grappling” situation, a head shot would be very difficult.
There will be no riots, although there will be many trying to incite them.
I doubt there will be a civil suit against Zimmerman.
There should be many civil suits filed by Zimmerman
I tend to agree.
Despite the obligatory, face-saving bluster and posturing of the BGI - from the top players officed in the halls of power, all the way down to the street thugs - I think many have always known that this was a sham, that there was always overwhelmingly reasonable doubt, and that any system that would convict in such a case could destroy everything they cherish as well.
It would be the useful idiots doing the rioting, not the movers and shakers of the BGI and Leftist establishment. Only the useful idiots would have anything to lose on the streets, and perhaps they are not actually that idiotic.
For me, the silence speaks volumes, a hesitant pause among people from whom I did not expect it. A fight averted when an aggressor was stared down, blinks, looks down and walks away. Hopefully, I am right that something has shifted, some moment of understanding and insight for these people, a glimpse of what it means to be an American in the finest sense of what this country used to be.
