I’m not happy to see Martin dead, but I am glad Zimmerman was seen for who he is. He’s not a killer. He’s a guy who gets some satisfaction from helping to keep his community safe. When attacked, he defended himself. That’s something Trayvon didn’t count on. Sorry kid, you blew it big-time.

Let the lesser educated amongst us vent on Twitter. It is certainly more desirable than having ignorance on parade in every municipality across this nation acting out in the belief that they are contributing to a solution for things they cannot comprehend. The internet is full of 'tough guys' who are more than willing to throw around a few unintelligible threats using vulgarity and then lay down their heads on My Little Pony bed sheets. We see these types every day, from time to time even here on FR.
While I pray for social peace, I am aware that the intellect that is required to put things into perspective has evaded the youth of today. Race baiters have led a vast percentage of the minority youth to believe that they are perpetual victims and they would have grand lives as millionaires if it weren't for the evil whitey corporate types who exploit them. Ignorance cannot easily be remedied. I am afraid that it will take an explosive confrontation to gain a fresh perspective - I hope I'm wrong.
Highly recommend taking husband to emergency room tonight. Serious infection, can’t wait for a nurse sometime tomorrow. Dangerous to wait.

Symptons of Sempsemia will by sudden chills, extreme tiredness and by then it may be too late. It happened to my wife in a hospital room and when she pinged the nurse she passed out and woke up in intensive care and survived.

I have to admit, I was expecting the worse for GZ. My faith in a jury led to the truth by a great defense counsel restored my faith.
I don't think one was just about publicity, although it certainly helps. O'Mara and West really believed in this client. They gave it 100% effort and it showed.

Friday evening, coming home from work, as I drove along the main streets, there were black males, either singly or in pairs, just walking and looking around.
Normally, foot traffic here is light - but seeing them on each and every crosswalk? In a heavily white area?

No, no, no! You must get him to the ER NOW! I had a similar thing ten years ago and almost died: septicemia (blood poisoning) and then pneumonia. I came very close to dying.
I had a red streak spreading up my leg. I passed out. The doc said, "Get him to the ER immediately!" I was in the hospital 13 days, and literally I almost died. This is very serious. People die, or lose limbs from this. I was very blessed that I came out OK, but it was a very close thing.
