It may be difficult this late at night but please go SOMEWHERE and have him looked at! Streaks and heat do indicate a problem. It may not be serious but it’s not worth taking the chance!
I just got over an infection in my Arm. Small deep cut at the Elbow when I banged it on a ladder while working in the Garage.
Thought I cleaned and treated it OK. A week later the Elbow starts to hurt like heck and my Arm starts to swell. Went to the Doctor the next day and he was pissed that I didn’t call as soon as it happened. He asked if I was attached to my right Arm, cause it wouldn’t be there if the infection got out of control.
My reply, since my Dr. knows my Political leanings, was “Imagine if people started calling me Lefty”.
He was not happy with me, but that comment made him laugh. Then he had the Nurse give me two very painful shots and he sent me on my way to pick up the Antibiotics Prescription which is now playing havoc with my Stomach and the stuff attached to it downstream. Ugh...
