I just got over an infection in my Arm. Small deep cut at the Elbow when I banged it on a ladder while working in the Garage.
Thought I cleaned and treated it OK. A week later the Elbow starts to hurt like heck and my Arm starts to swell. Went to the Doctor the next day and he was pissed that I didn’t call as soon as it happened. He asked if I was attached to my right Arm, cause it wouldn’t be there if the infection got out of control.
My reply, since my Dr. knows my Political leanings, was “Imagine if people started calling me Lefty”.
He was not happy with me, but that comment made him laugh. Then he had the Nurse give me two very painful shots and he sent me on my way to pick up the Antibiotics Prescription which is now playing havoc with my Stomach and the stuff attached to it downstream. Ugh...

Start taking some probiotics. Antibiotics kill the good bacteria in the digestive tract along with the bad.
Go to a health food store and get some heavy duty PROBIOTICS ....they won’t be cheap, but they may save you the destruction of your stomach, etc. (Or, if you have a naturapath, they can get you even HEAVIER probiotics than the health food store.)
Watch out for that nasty C-Diff which is a side effect of some anti-biotics (esp for dentistry) which kills the good bacteria and can kill. (Treatment has been successful now with fecal “transplants”)
