Relatives of a victim usually are in the court room. I thought this was weird that they just disappeared

George Zimmerman was the victim and his family was in the courtroom. The family of the assailant vanished rather quickly.
Is the jury supposed to rule on child abuse and manslaughter? Or is this over?
