Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

I mentioned the timeline last week in these environs. Not being a lawyer, I was begging the defense team to bring it up during trial. Guess I’m not the chess player that O’Mara is, huh?
I have been walking every evening for the last 20 years. For those who haven’t considered it, a 17 year old of Martin’s height could easily cover 100 yards per minute - at a moderate pace. If he was in a hurry, he could easily walk 120 yards in one minute. It was 110 yards from the ‘T’ to where Martin was staying.
Look for O’Mara to make a rate comparison.

I just got back from donating blood. There were 5 afro-americans talking about this case and they were laughing about it. They seem to think the jury will return a guilty verdict in less than 5 minutes.
It’s simply astounding how two races think so differently, about everything.
