The County sheriff has no say in what a City official does. The Sanford Police Chief did say something about the mayor and manage but they did it anyway.
Grab a snickers...That’s mean....I just got back from the store.
>> maybe that business wasnt important to your problem-solving, strategizing, big-picture planning...
Right. I married an ESTJ to help with that detail stuff (like finding my way to and from home, selecting clothing, keeping to a schedule...) :-)
Same but Monday. They'll go over everything with a fine tooth comb . . . and cop a few more meals.
We have done everything you have wanted us to do.......now lets hang GZ.
I don’t see what purpose this news conference will serve.

Now Sanford Chief Cecil Smith, calls case a tragedy. Many asked for an investigation, arrest and a trial. “Each of those things” happened.
Isn't that illegal? Need to pray for the jurors, too. They are taking their job very seriously and do not need distractions/tampering by the Commie Media.
Which juror is the wife of an attorney?
Hey Cecil, lock the scheme team in the mayor’s office without their phones and there won’t be any trouble.
Not entirely mutually exclusive. M wanders back towards the T, sees Z cross his field of vision, approaches and completely surprises Z. I was trying to account for why M turns away from the home after allegedly arriving at the home. If he arrived (i think it is likely that he did, given the 4 minute gap), then he was out of sight of Z for that time. He probably had no idea that Z had gotten out of the truck and was in the area of the T. So I ascribe little or no premeditation to beat up Z to M. I think that Z and M getting back together caught them both momentarily by surprise. However, M realized they were near each other again first, and chose to approach Z. If M were locked out, he could have been angry about that, and the anger spilled over to his anger at Z for stalking him or being a homo or whatever. This does not rule out M casing some neighbor homes while he walked back towards the T. That is also plausible but just personally I'm not sure it adds or subtracts much from the overall motivations for actions as the actions played out.
Reasonable doubt so big, Moochelle could walk through it and not even have to squeeze or turn sideways.
sanford police chief saying they wanted a trial....
wrong the mob wanted an arrest and execution. NO trial.
Pretty sad, they have to beg people not to kill or riot...
The state's case has been demolished already.....NO EVIDENCE!!
“To not tell jurors the impact of their potential decisions is in my mind criminal in and of itself.”
I totally agree. If I had been picked for a potential juror, I would have researched the penalties right off the bat, just in case I was chosen. If the issue is left up to THIS judge to inform the jurors or not, the result will be a “not”. She wants the jurors blissfully ignorant as they send GZ away for 30 years, or for the rest of his life (which would be about one month, if even that long).
What an embarrassment if you happen to be black....lectured on national TV to not riot.
Speaking of jurisdiction, did anybody watch The Bridge pilot? I can’t decide if I like it or not.
Seminole Co. Courthouse: Don Eslinger (Seminole Co.) and Cecil Smith (Sanford Police Chief) news conference taking place now on WFTV. They are discussing the present atmosphere here and all is calm and peaceful. They are saying nobody on either side in this trial wants violence. Talking about community coming together to communicate, etc..
I would bet there is a much greater chance of riots in Dade or Broward than in Sanford. Martin was from Dade. Probably a greater chance of riots in Orange, West Palm, Hillsborough, Duval and Pinellas Counties too.
