Speaking of jurisdiction, did anybody watch The Bridge pilot? I can’t decide if I like it or not.
The man now Police Chief is the replacement for the man who refused to charge George because there was not probable cause that a crime had been committed. being a blackman, he is in a very difficult position, even more so than having to follow a white Chief who followed the law and did not charge. ... I wouldn’t even drive through Floriduh, much less live there!

I wasn’t that impressed with it. Usually the pilot is better than the series to draw you in. It didn’t work for me.
