If Zimmerman is convicted, it essentially gives a pass for burglars and other bad guys to attack and beat up anyone who tries to monitor them.

That is exactly what this means...You follow someone suspicious, and they decide to beat you into the ground, you are in the wrong...Hands off criminals or others who may decide to beat your white cracker ass.

why an all female jury?

The prosecution wanted all female and the defense didn't object. They could have objected, but didn't.

I appreciate your input P-Marlowe, knowing it comes from one who practices in the field gives it so much more weight.

I can sit here all day and cite where I hear lies and distortion, but to have one who has been part of the system, makes me feel stronger that perhaps, the jury can see the truth.

You’re absolutely correct. I’m hoping and praying that there is those two you mention. I think there is a good chance.

I’m way past sick of the sweeping “women are idiots” statements coming from posters here. People that do that ARE the idiots....

You’re right. I checked Twitter—no other reporter in courtroom mentioned this.

The trial is irrelevant.

These women will convict to avoid rodney king riots and their own personal safety.

Rule of law is meaningless in this country anymore.

When I look at that courtroom all I see is kangaroos.

Meet B-29

Juror B29 B29 was first presented to the court for preliminary voir dire on Day One of jury selection, June 10. She is a Hispanic nurse who works the night shift with Alzheimer’s patients. She was a resident of Chicago at the time of the shooting, having arrived in Seminole county only four months prior to the start of the trial. This relatively recent arrival to the area is part of the explanation for why she says she has “no idea” about the case. In addition, she explained, “I don’t like watching the news, period,” and “I don’t read any newspapers, don’t watch the news.” She also indicated that she didn’t tend to watch crime procedural programs, saying that she preferred to real world to “make believe.” Zimmerman Trial: West: "What is your source of news?" "Nothing." Live: http://t.co/4E9NB7hxAj #Zimmerman #Trayvon — Andrew Branca, LOSD (@LawSelfDefense) June 10, 2013 She did, however, recall that some “little boy had passed away,” and she assumed that “he was a kid, 12 or 13.” She recalled seeing pictures of Trayvon in various formats, including T-shirts. She recalled hearing people talking talking about the event in the context of the “child who died.” Zimmerman Trial: B29 remembers that "some little boy passed away." Live: http://t.co/4E9NB7hxAj #Zimmerman #Trayvon — Andrew Branca, LOSD (@LawSelfDefense) June 10, 2013 B29 has eight children, the oldest of whom is 20 and recently returned home to look for work. She as been married for 10 years. Asked if she worked with any charitable type of organizations outside her regular job she answered, “My house is my organization.” She speaks passionately about her children. She was one of the prospective jurors who had previously been arrested, but said the matter was no longer pending, that she had been treated fairly, and that she wouldn’t hold the fact of her arrest against either side. Upon final voir dire by the defense she affirmed that she would have no hesitancy in finding Zimmerman “not guilty” if she had a reasonable doubt of his guilt, even if she possessed as much as a considerable certainty of his guilt. She also acknowledged her duty to listen to both sides of the argument as presented in court, and to not “bring your problems [prejudices] into this trial.”

To find him guilty, they would have to be liberals, and liberals do not regret poor decisions they may have very often.

We’ll see if their decision to back and all female jury backfires in Mr. Zimmerman’s face.

She is a Hispanic nurse who works the night shift with Alzheimer’s patients.

If she works with Alzheimer's patients she will be very procedure oriented. Take this pill at this time, etc. Alzheimers' patients forget to take their pills and that can cause problems if the staff is not on top of the situation. She will most likely be directing others to give the pills.
