Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

It’s the old Mel Belli “demonstrative evidence” trick. In a civil trial, back in the day when it was frequently just the lawyers in the courtroom, he had the injured party present, in a wheelchair. Never remarked on it, just had her/him on display.
Oh, people would watch it, but it wouldn’t be touted as a drama ... any guesses what it would be touted as, with a magic thinking lying pig as main character? ... HINT: the word ‘farm’ is in the title and a guy named George would be listed as the writer.
This prosecutor is quite the “Dream Weaver”....
