Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

The heart of that “CHILD” was filled with malice, racism and sheer hatred toward all Crackas.
It was part of a set piece and one that should result in sanctions on the prosecution. In his closing statement, what's his face made the statement that the Martin family could not endure seeing another picture. The clear intent was to raise the stakes for the defense and make them pay a price for using St. Skittle's likeness. That the family would walk out was pre-ordained. It was a pretty bald-faced (headed?) attempt to influence the jury in a negative way against the defense team. Shameful.

I’m trying to remain hopeful, but keep thinking of Reginald denny...my handsome husband is a truck driver. To paraphrase something CC said yesterday: I’m hopeful that there will be minimal rioting, that the authorities are prepared, etc., but I’m not blind to the threats and history.

MSNBC and CNN talking heads outraged and are all over O’Mara for being sexist and talking down to the jury by telling them to make their decision based on facts instead of emotion.
