This article nails it! My (white) niece taught in an all black high school for 3 years in Baltimore. She was abused both physically and verbally by the students. The principle, a black women, treated her like sh*t. She almost had a nervous breakdown before she got out.

I totally agree with the FRiend (can’t remember who right now), who said that what stood out to them was the observation regarding the lack of innocence among these students as compared to white students of the same age group. I’ve noticed that too, the way young white boys and girls still think the other has “cooties” until app puberty age. It’s disgusting to see children as young as toddlers being cheered on and encouraged to perform “dancing” which might be seen at a strip club. Though now it’s permeating the whole culture-the latest is something called “twerking”, I think (not sure what that entails exactly, don’t care to know the details). I’ve seen cheerleaders doing this kind of stuff rather than the “rah rah go team” I always associated with cheerleaders. Some cheerleader teams even dress the part, all they need is a pole. What happened to the all-American cheerleader outfits of sweater and pleated skirt? By now, I’d bet that hardly anyone remembers that cheering began as a male activity.
Actually, I’m going to post the website to my Twitter feed, too....and the more I think about it, this is very sad, and scary, too. Tribal mentality seems to be the main word I can come up with.

Without this kind of excuse for failure they would have to take responsibility. Eventually, most people figure out that their situation is because of all the decisions they made. Some decisions are bad and result in bad outcomes. Collectively and individually, blacks have made some very bad decisions. The longer it takes to learn about bad decisions the harder it is to admit your own responsibility for them. Sometimes you can’t ever admit the bad decisions. Admission of what you have done to yourself is just too terrible and so you live with remorse, bitterness and self-loathing.
Most whites simply do not know what black people are like in large numbers, and the first encounter can be a shock.
I've seen this first-hand and also notice that the first thing blacks with ambitions and real aspirations want to do is move out of the 'hood. As soon as possible and, sometimes, even as far away as possible.

You can have a strong ,spirited teacher but even the teacher can’t generally overcome cultural attitude and bias

I’m a salesman on the mean streets of Cincinnati and this article nails the culture I see every day 100%. The odd thing is how different a black individual can be when interacting one on one with you as opposed to his group personality. Articulate, intelligent individuals morph into wannabe obscene rap lyric heroes when around their peers. Sad commentary on the culture.
It all boils down to the facts of low intelligence and poor impulse control. As a group they require external controls.
The sad thing is this is the “Black Culture” that’s been pushed on them by leftists for a very long time.
I recall in grade school (a Jewish day school) that we had an “exchange day” with an elementary school that had all Black children. They were perfectly well behaved, and I imagine that we were as much a mystery to them, as they were to us - Until that point, I had never met a Black person, and most of them had never met a Jew. They were nice and we had quite a bit of fun, where one day they visited our school, and one day, we had visited their school - Also my first time in a Church.
It was a Catholic school, and the kids were terrific. I guess that’s why the leftists do all they can do to remove religion from the lives of Blacks, so they won’t have a chance, and become nothing more than an unruly mob they hope they’ll be able to control.
To leftists, Blacks are nothing more than “cannon fodder.”

As has been said before, blacks are their own worst enemies. Success in the black community means having a 15 year old car with $5000 in wheels and $2000 in the stereo, paid for by selling drugs, and having multiple children by multiple women and supporting none of them.

I have never taught in schools of any kind, but I have had enough exposure to blacks of all ages to make this essay one of the very few I’ve ever read that is observant without being “smarmy.”
