What is the Rodney king or Mississippi burning maneuver?? I never saw the movie and only know the basics of the Rodney king story..

Rodney King maneuver is where the cops were found not guilty for using excessive force on King, thus rioting ensued. and King's famous, "Can't we all just get along?" plea for calming things down.
Enter President George Herbert Walker Bush who sics the Feds on the cops for violating King's civil rights and they wind up in jail.

The Feds would turn it into a civil rights case...conspiring to deprive Trayvon of his civil rights under color of state law.
Mississippi Burning was a movie loosely based on the murder, in the 60’s of 3 civil rights workers. The feds brought the killers to trial for conspiring to deprive the murdered of their civil rights.
More to the point, when the cops were acquitted in the Rodney King case, the feds brought civil rights action against the cops and the cops were found guilty.
