My husband work for everything we have,and I will most likely lose my home.I am his caregiver.But most important is that my husband has made zero progress,I think he has given up,he is only 54 & my teenage daughter is so sad.She was only 10 when he had his first stroke.I ask that you please pray for them.THANK YOU, Freepers you are the best!
So sorry to hear of your husband’s stroke.
Remember that God is always with you—you and your family will be in my prayers.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Prayers up for all of you. God Bless you and your family.
Prayers for you and your family.
Sorry I meant - “There is a healer in the house” - by his stripes we are healed.
Prayers going up for you, your daughter and husband in the name of Jesus.
Prayers sent.
I am asking our loving Father to shower His grace and mercy into your lives at this difficult time and encircle His loving arms around each one of you. May you know His presence and abiding love. May your community and/or church be used by Him to give your family love and support.
May the reality of Romans 8:28 be shown in this situation and in your hearts.
Patricia Mary...I’m sorry you and your family are so burdened right now.
When I feel overwhelmed, I pray this prayer. It comforts me greatly.
Psalm 91
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.
3 Surely he will save you
from the fowlers snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, The Lord is my refuge,
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 Because he[b] loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.
You’ve got it.

Prayer right now.
My family will certainly pray for yours.
How long has it been since this stroke? Did they catch it soon afterwards? Is there treatment or therapy they can do for that kind of stroke.
I’ve had 2 children who died and one who wasn’t supposed to live but did anyway. With God all things are possible but sometimes His answer is perfect healing for our loved ones, which only comes in Heaven. We don’t know what will happen, and that’s what can be scary. But two things I know for sure.
First, whatever He allows to touch your life will somehow be for good, and the ultimate good is for each of us to make it safely Home through the forgiveness paid for by Jesus’ blood. There is no permanent good-bye for those who are in Christ. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, and nothing truly separates us from those who are in Him.
Second, He weeps and laughs with you and will carry you through every hardship, every sorrow. every joy, every wait. He will tenderly provide for you and your daughter because He loves you dearly. If He would give up His own Son for you, He would do ANYTHING. He will do what He knows will be best for you all, even if it doesn’t make sense to us now.
I hurt for you. I pray that you, your husband, and your daughter will all have strength, joy, hope, peace, love, and the open arms and strong shoulders of the Lord as you go through this painful time. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Please know that my heart is sharing your burden & lifting it before the Throne.
