Some of peeps had been lurking for quite some time. Took us awhile to figure out (and write down) usernames and passwords so we didn’t have to keep creating new accounts and overcome the fear of flame factor.
In fact I still don’t have the hang of it, LOL!

I was there ... I lived it! :) In those days Freepers had banner-toting airplanes flying over major sporting events. We had street protests that involved the occasional busted nose (hey, we didn't start it, we just finished it!)
We made the tea party look ... tepid!
