Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

Have you sat on a jury? When I have, the judge was very clear about the gravity of the situation and my responsibility. It worked with me. I have seen comments that all the jurors are taking notes.
The facts must be put into the record. If it's tedious, well, that's just the way it is.

Dr. Nakasone says age is very complicated to guess under the best of conditions. A 55-year-old can sound like a teenager. #Zimmermanon9
I wrote a response last week that during the Duke Rape Hoax, TV and newspaper people told us every day that Nifong must have something pretty good up his sleeve, and he never did. I’d say this is another empty-sleeve prosecution.
Thanks for clarifying that. It’s good to know that the jury can determine for themselves who’s voice is yelling.
This was defense witness who said you could not scientifically tell. Too many variants
You know what my ‘go-by’ always is? If the idiots on the left are saying something.....I pretty much am automatically assured that the truth is either the exact opposite....or somewhere in between. In this instance, it was the exact opposite.
It’s a never-fail system!
LOL
Tray didn't need any help bashing George's head...he was winning...
He’s talking dB. Hardly a dinner conversation topic.
Yeah...but my suspicious nature always concludes that they are up to something. In this case it’s probably just sheer desperation and smoke and mirrors. You know...the usual schtick with lefties.
I find it ironic that the left is always so outraged at the mere thought of ‘most’ criminals being unjustly sentenced, especially if it results in the death penalty. And yet, if the case is politically or racially motivated (same thing) they are always gung ho on frying the bastard, who needs a fair trial. Funny, eh?
I am wondering 2 things. 1. Why didn’t defense get into Treyvon jumping or beating anyone before? And 2. Why can’t any drug use of Treyvon come into this, which could of prompted him to snap?
uh, yeah, well, about that ...
This witness will say that the best device for voice identification is the human ear.
The only unit of measurement that makes my head ache, good thing I'm in radiation efects, that's simple.
Even after what we’ve seen, I’m baffled as to why they would call this witness. We know the following:
- GZ’s father said it sounded like George
- TM’s father said it did NOT sound like TM
He is testifying that a third party who doesn’t know either George or TM can’t tell.
Ok, thanks for wasting everybody’s time!
I realize he’s a defense witness, but you would think the prosecution would make wise use of the jury’s time.
Haven't followed this real closely - but some closely - I have the Orlando site for trial punched up...the television station listed in the list of places to watch.
How soon do they start the trial day over there?
TIA!
Did not know there are only 6 jurors until I saw it on FR thread! (when you want real news go to Drudge, Beck's site and, most of all - FREE REPUBLIC.

You’re making the mistake that the Defense is the side presenting its case now. They will get their chance when the Prosecution is done.
