That's a remarkable statement to come from the Martin legal team, since race is the only reason we're having this trial at all. Everyone from the Martin family's lawyers, to the professional grievance industry, to characters like the New Black Panther Party was busy whipping up riot conditions and treating Zimmerman as a fugitive from racial justice, which led to filmmaker Spike Lee endangering the lives of an innocent couple that just happened to be named "Zimmerman." And there's a good reason the media referred to Zimmerman as "white" until photos of him finally leaked out, and they had to change it to "white Hispanic," a very special demographic of which George Zimmerman seems to remain the only high-profile member.
As the likelihood of a not-guilty verdict grows, the machinery of racial unrest is getting pumped up again. Death threats against "creepy ass cracka" George Zimmerman are flying around Twitter. An acquittal might be the best thing that could happen for certain political and cultural actors, as Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit suggested: "Obama and the Democrats would actually prefer an acquittal here. That’s because the whole point of the ginned-up Zimmerman affair was to inflame racial sentiment to boost black turnout in 2012. With any luck, they can turn an acquittal into another racial rallying cry, which will help in 2014. It’s not about Zimmerman; he’s just one of those eggs you have to break to make an Obama omelet." I suspect one reason the lawyers are starting to back away from the racial claims is that nothing has appeared to support them in court. Such a characteristic of a demographic now in competition with blacks must be very unsettling to blacks, and to the welfare plantation bosses who want no part of self-reliant people who might not vote for more and more government nannyism!

To perpetuate the concept that the members of a certain culture are permanent victims, it is necessary for those in that culture to see everyone as against them and for them to exist in an eternally blameless state (like children vis-à-vis adults).
Ergo, Trayvon, despite being a thug, is still viewed by his fellow victim culture members as innocent though society knows full well he is a thug.
This concept of victimhood requires a denial of reality. What would normally be called insane is accepted blindly as normal because in the victim's mind, society and the reality in which it exists are themselves build on a racist foundation and therefore may be ignored.
Note that above I use the term culture and not race. This is because many of the Black race are not part of this culture. Shelby Steele, Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Allan West and many like them do not see themselves as victims and want no part of that culture.
The fact that many Black men and women have proven that it is not a matter of race and that they are just as capable as those of any other race flies in the face of the concept of victimhood. That is why Black conservatives are so hated in the (Black) victimhood world.
Question:
why has the media done so much to push the narrative of the innocent kid (ten years old) vs. the huge white-hispanic racist thug?
Unbiased reporting would just REPORT the news—to include all of Trayvon’s current photos—and not keep emphasizing
the storyline.
What goes with the editors, newscasters, etc.?
What stake do they have in keeping the pot boiling?
Ive been wondering where the flash point would be regarding race riots and the need to declare martial law. This could very well be the item where it begins, during the peak of a hot summer perhaps.
My gut feeling, the time to gird our loins is NOW. The exurbanites feel very endowed with self righteousness. Their buddy in the white hut will make the wrong move. The result will be the black population being reduced to %10 of the population and the Hispanics will rein supreme.
The psychological term for what’s going on is “transference”. The whole prosecutorial, judicial and journalistic realm is transferring a deep seated white-guilt complex onto Mr. Zimmerman who happened to defend himself from a black punk banger going ‘ground and pound’ on his ass.
After speaking to a number of acquaintances, both black and white, it is very clear that they are watching two very different trials.
I think that if they don't convict Zimmerman there will be trouble. At the very least this will add to the distrust between the two sides. A scab will be left that the media, politicians, or hustlers can pick at for years to advance whatever agenda they are promoting.
I tend to agree, and whites in urban areas will pay the price, most assuredly.
The two different trials isn’t a new phenomenon, we have the Rodney King Simi Valley trials, and the OJ criminal trial to show us about what happens when blacks don’t like the outcome, or when they get enough peers on a jury to forego all logic and reason.
About the only thing I can say at this point is that it would be damned tough for Traaaaayvon rioters to do anything about it in my neck of the woods.
About the only thing that the state’s star witness,Miss Slim Jeans,said that could be understood by a reasonably intelligent person was that,in her opinion,it *was* a race thing.Look at the transcript.It’s very clearly stated (the clarity being shocking,given her apparent IQ).
There will be a call for Riots when Zimmerman wins.
How far away that dream has become. In the place of that dream we have a bunch of race baiters, racialists who profit from the stoking of race based hatred.

All the liberal haters were salivating at the thought of getting a white male conservative... maybe even an NRA member...
And so we have this circus - liberal elites expressing their hatred for the middle class through the feelings of black inferiority. Cruel to blacks, cruel to Zimmerman - and silly to middle class whites.
