Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

WFTV keeps saying all the witnesses are proving GZ’s injuries are not life threatening and so do not justify deadly force. Well....what about Trayvon reaching for Zimmerman’s gun????

This prosecutor is actually trying to introduce an entire medical record into evidence. Can you imagine what the media (and who knows else) will do with that????
O’Mara apparently wants it limited to the info about the event in question, the same as testimony from the physician’s assistant.
I can’t imagine the judge won’t see this O’Mara’s way. Absolutely no reason everyone should see what’s in GZ’s medical record.
Nor can I imagine an honest prosecutor trying to do this.

It's pretty clear to me seeing the testimony that our jury would have taken less than ten minutes to acquit. Sadly, it's (a ten minute not guilty verdict) what would have happened if Zimmerman was black and the prosecutor moved forward to convict him.
That is an assumption on your part, and one not shared over at Legal Insurrection. He is a Florida lawyer, and has stated that the Murder 2 charge included lesser included charges of manslaughter.
