Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

Somehow, I always feel a little self conscious whenever I answer this.
My sainted spouse was in an auto collision many years ago, nose smacked and broke on steering wheel. It still causes problems because it wasn’t fixed right away.
I understand GZ wanting to just get back to work and not follow up with an ENT, especially if as it sounds, there’d be a high co-pay.
we all really felt that the gubmint didn’t make a case with obamacare. They were laughed at and even insulted by the justices for having such a weak argument while turning around the next day and contesting the exact opposite. and the solicitor was a disaster by all accounts.. how did it turn out?
The outcome had been predetermined. It will be followed by a statement from dear leader praising the system.

we have one window AC and most summers we don't even get around to putting it up....

LOL...I’m on an eternal diet, and can’t remember what ice cream tastes like. However, it doesn’t keep me from ordering a Big Mac once a month!

Same here. O'Mara owned the physician's assistant testimony. He owned Goode's testimony. He owned the Asian guy's testimony.
I honestly thought they'd lined up witnesses for the defense. The only thing that makes me think they aren't deliberately throwing it is that they appear to be building a case that the injuries weren't all that significant, and therefore, Zimmerman didn't really have to use deadly force.
I think they're going after reckless homicide....reckless manslaughter and not Murder 2.
Aside from blowing it that's the only thing that makes sense, and they're not doing that real well, so incompetence is at play in any case.
Same here. I have a window unit in the bedroom (where I hibernate in the winter using portable ceramic heater and the window AC along with a portable fan in summer). I also have ceiling fans throughout.
It cuts waaay down on my electric bill. This last month my bill was just under $100 and the month before that it was only $65. With 104 degree temps the rest of this month and probably for the next two months, my next bill will probably go up to $200.
But again, I use what I save from prior months to cushion that hit. In January of this year, I had a $330 bill due to having had company for 2 weeks over Chistmas. Had to keep the heat on for them...lol. It’s like throwing money down a rathole to me.

Her correct response should have been, “Yes, I recommended that he see a psychologist.”

I believe you responded to me by mistake. My post wasn’t about his nose, but of a psychologist being mentioned.
By the way...If you look at him sitting there, I think his nose is leaning right.
That’s when you gotta say something like “Chocolate? Eeeuw! Vanilla only, please” and smile sweetly....lol.
Of course, expect an extra dash of spit with that.
Yes, just like everyone in the White House will buy insurance from the exchange.
