Wonder if obama will send fighters to intercept and force it to land here?

Brave Sir Robin Obama? Mess with one of Putin's aircraft? Ha! Not likely, not ever.

because the US extradition request was incomplete and there was no legal basis to restrict him from departing.

Perhaps it was incomplete by design?

>>real damage was done.

Only if they didn’t know what he thought he knew, already.

>>He crossed the line into treason by doing that.

Regardless of damage - his intent was treasonous.

Who vetted this lying cheater?

and not battle it out in the courts, instead choosing to flirt with this country’s enemies?

Fair trial in the USSA? Really?

He is symptomatic of the systemic corruption that has evidently become SOP in the bureaucratic termite mound that pretends to be OUR government.

Who vetted a cheating liar like that for TSSCI?

What constitution was he defending when he was, or at least thought he was, giving information to the Communist Chinese?

F’im and the “anonymouse” nepotistic jackwagon he rode in on.

Agreed. No one knows anything. A link does help to see what side certain posters have taken in this quiet war.

<...”he could have remained anonymous”....>

Exactly...but then he wouldn't have the world wide attention would he....the same with stealing the Intelligence Documents....if he really wanted to change things why didn't he stay at his job and work to do that..to change the very things he saw and complained about.

He was an admirer of Assange and followed him...also of the same political mindset of “changing the world” to become what they want it to be.....neither willing to do “the hard work” to make it happen as so many have.

Narcissistic people like these two think they have the edge nobody else has...they both will learn otherwise.

<...”Who vetted this lying cheater?”.....>

USIS ....A company that is currently in the thros of an investigation and found to be falsifying resumes and records. Which of course are “people” processing that information.

So the question is “who” pushed Snowden’s records thru.

Interesting site.... employees who work At USIS that vetted Snowden.... what they have to say ......seems they all are time pressed to meet quotas....regardless of the national security issues they have raised to their management in vetting people.

Thought this would interest you...from a former employee who worked at USIS the company that vettted Snowden and now under investigation..and was before this event with Snowden..

‘Senior Investigator’ (Former Employee USIS)

I worked at US Investigations Services full-time for more than 10 years

When this company was first formed management had solid values, integrity;... as new management evolved replaced old management for the “new culture”, the ethics went down the toilet in favor of money/ bonuses/entitlements for mid-to upper management only.

Once the integrity and value added concept went down the toilet and it was only for pushing the cattle for more more revenue, the investigation process was no longer geared for National Security but for revenue building, I fortunately left voluntarily for a competitor. .....It was notabley pardon the pun the best decision I could have ever have made.

They will eat you up, spit you out if you don’t push out those reports along even though reports lacked critical information,... even though it was strongly encouraged to hurry those source interviews along,... make only 2 attempts to contact a source,... read your questions like a script with no depth,... the list goes on and on....

And now the truth is finally out what a production sweat shop this place is,..... we tried to alert the Government (OPM) for years... and it was ignored... until now of all things ..... USIS is under investigation for the NSA scandal due to allegedly incorrectly performing background investigations.

Goes back to government being too big no matter what the companies and contractors are....and the corruption that permeates our entire nation.

I get the terrible feeling our entire government system, and this nation entire, is cracking all over place and it won’t take much more to crash the entire thing.....and if it does.... we are in a world of hurt ‘beyond imaginable’.

I don’t care how advanced this nation is with all it’s technical equipment etc...it’s still run and operated by people...and they no longer have the values, discipline or basic standards conduct this nation was favored for.

We have lost our favor with God.

Favor with God was lost only because people stopped bothering to ask for it. They got jaded, started to believe in the power of themselves and of the world. God did not move. People did.

[Goes back to government being too big no matter what the companies and contractors are....and the corruption that permeates our entire nation.]

Goes back to the tendency of human nature to worship its own creation; especially in the form of government idolatry whose name in the Old Testament was, repeatedly : Ba’al.

Observe the order of precedence and consequences in Romans 1:25+ “...because of this, God gave them over”.

I always felt that was a total violation of international law, but North and Reagan (as much as I otherwise respect them) were heralded as gutsy by many.

Some violations of international law are more equal than others.

But if Bambi did it now, they would love it (and I would still hate it).

Hopefully, it would turn out to be the wrong airplane. Obama would be the optimal loser.

Did some research. There are no direct flights from moscow to either Quito nor Guayaquil. The closest international flight would be via Amsterdam, the netherlands.

That would be a bad choice. He'd have to trust the Dutch.

He's probably booked on Aeroflot flight SU 150, a non-stop departing at 14:05 (06:05 Eastern, real soon now) and arriving at 18:45. That will put him in Havana, from which it is easy to reach Ecuador.

As CINC, Zero could order the flight diverted. But there would be risks. Zero doesn't like those.

And, who knows? Maybe I'm wrong, and Snowden's on a different flight!
