Yahoo! News issued a correction Friday evening after a reporter mistakenly referred to Kenya as President Barack Obama's birthplace.
A piece on Obama's upcoming trip to Africa by Rachel Rose Hartman included a lede that echoed sentiments heard among the "birther" movement.
"President Barack Obama makes the first extended trip to Africa of his presidency next week—but he won't be stopping in the country of his birth," Hartman originally wrote.

Approximately 90 minutes after the piece was published — and after several commenters identified the error — the lede was revised to refer to Kenya as Obama's "ancestral homeland" and the article now includes a correction.
Lies are hard to cover up over an extended period of time.
The truth will be found out, the “birthers” are correct.
I'm not even convinced that the drug-addled communist in our White House today has any connection with the baby allegedly born 52 years ago in Hawaii/Kenya/Indonesia. Candidate Obama was a fiction created by the far left, without any reference to the truth. He may really have been born in Hawaii, or Chicago, or Connecticut, or Nairobi, but we have no way to know, and none of his supporters care about the truth if it interferes with the "inspirational" narrative.

I agree, the truth will be found out...in time. Perhaps in fifty years...but even then...the media will deny and cover.
Like the Kennedy assassination...LBJ and some friends in the CIA and Mafia shot their way into the White House...we know that now...but still, the MSM denies and covers.
There is “truth” and there is TRUTH. It kinda depends on who gets to define it.

Agreed...and it is what is so depressing about the MSM. These “reporters” are nothing more than corporate mouthpieces...if one wishes to find out what’s really going on...you have to get on the net and figure it out for yourself.
Accepted “history” is too often a pack of distortions.
Its out there. Everyone knows its out there. The Kongress knows its out there. The SCOTUS know its out there. The MSM know its out there, the people know its out there but the coup d’etat has already occurred. Sayonara America! We hardly knew ya’.
Well, it’s an understandable mistake. Apparently Obama made the same one when he submitted his official bio to the publisher of Dreams of My Father.
