Chris Simcox, who founded a border-watch group known as the Minutemen to look for illegal immigrants coming into Arizona from Mexico, has been arrested in Phoenix on suspicion of having sexual contact with three girls under the age of 10, police said.
Mr. Simcox, 52, was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on suspicion of two counts of molestation of a child, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of attempted molestation of a child, according to reports.
Police said Mr. Simcox has denied the allegations.

child sex abuse allegations have been used by lefties for years to discredit their opponents. Nazis, Stalinists, you name it.
That's why I don't jump on people accused of it until they are proven guilty beyond a doubt. My high school buddy was charged with child abuse, physical, not sexual, by his then girlfriend because she wanted to get back at him. Her father fessed up and told the truth and charges were dropped before it got legs, thank God. The thing that bugs me about child abuse cases is even if you are deemed innocent after dropped charges or in a court of law, the stigma still follows you. He went through all sorts of Hell, especially his mother who was on kidney dialysis at the time because he spent a night in county lockup.

Gotta prove there ARE “victims” first - and not some made up politically-inspired smear job to take out one of our people
Innocent until proven guilty by a jury of your peers, in a court of law, under due process.
If he IS guilty, then yeah, no support at all and enjoy jail. NOBODY should mess with kids.
But prove it first.

Simcox was prosecuted for possessing a firearm while on lands of the Organ Pipe National Monument. National monuments have more restrictive regulations and state laws concerning firearms do not apply as they do on national forest lands.

The timing of it is so odd. The guy has not been in the news, AFAIK, for years, and just when the amnesty bill is in progress...

It is a sad, sad day in America, when we are more apt to believe an accused child molester than our own government.
What more is worth tolerating ?

Just curious, how many of you in this thread would be so quick to defend a liberal accused of the same charges?

Sheriff Joe has gone sideways on us by holding Simcox in his prison.
I will pray that Simcox is not being held in a tent in the Arizona heat.

Just curious, how many of you in this thread would be so quick to defend a liberal accused of the same charges? Just curious: Have you ever seen an administration this lawless and capable of criminalizing their opponents actions?
If you answer no, then you should have an understanding why your question is silly. If you answer yes, I'd suggest you haven't been watching what has gone on the past four years and you have no clue why some of us might be paranoid about the capacity of this group of totalitarian leftists.
Btw, it's NOT about the seriousness of the charge, it's whether there is any proof for the charge.

A bogus law to insure ones compliance.
Else re-education camp for you!!
You go in to a National Forest without a gun and you are a fool.

I’m no fan of this administration or Obama. My question stands, however.
