And so begins our annual 8th TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot. We are having a great time!

The Mom and crew are busy with family who stopped into town to attend the shoot and visit, so she asked me to get the thread started.

We did shoot...but we ATE all the time! LOL! I am now on bread and water...and cherry pie, of course. :)

I'm sure y'all left there feeling like you were stuffed for the next week! I'd probably eat extra light for a couple of days too :-)

The pie was just the tip of the culinary iceberg this weekend! I can’t even remember all the wonderful dishes that NYTexan had prepared for us (with just a “bit” of help) when we got there Wednesday night before we started the caravan south! And it was all uphill from there! :) Food-wise, that is!
